What used to be a nice hidden away beach is now mainstream. Banana Beach is still beautiful and secluded at times. Early mornings and late afternoons for high tide are the two times I suggest to make the trip to this shady beach. There is the main staircase on one end as well as a route off the road through the jungle. Whichever way you choose to get to Banana Beach, the view and soft sand make it well worth the trek. Note: During high season there will be long boats and motorboats stopping to let their clients enjoy the nice cove. Please keep the beach clean and pack out what you bring in.

One of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. If you’re planning on going, please take your litter home with you. The beach is small but stunning with a little bar serving beers and cocktails 🤩

A nice, shaded beach. Small and vibrant. But, a remark: quite packed with families with children, so don’t expect to party here

Great beach with short walk downhill. Secluded and nice looking beach but could be better looked after, have spotted some rubbish and buried rice bags

One of the hidden gems of Phuket, this spot is conveniently located near Nai Thon Beach. It's just a short 3-4 minute drive south, or a pleasant 30-minute stroll. You can park your car near the road, though it's worth noting that the space is narrow and small. From there, it's a quick 5-minute walk through the tropical forest to reach the beach. While the beach itself is small, it boasts a charming atmosphere and offers a fantastic vantage point for watching the sunset.

Banana beach is a lovely beach to visit! Whilst quite busy with people, you can still enjoy yourself and a nice swim. There are just a couple of steps to walk down to get there - it’s really nothing hard at all unless you are injured or have disabled/elderly with you. Other than that it’s an easy access beach and great to chill at and take photos!

Enjoyed a day trip here from Kamala Beach. It's obviously a very beautiful place. However it's different from other beaches as it's fairly quiet and peaceful. The beach is divided into two halves. The first half has fine sand whilst the other half has coarse sand. But that won't interfere with your enjoyment. There are two 'beach bars' serving food and drinks that were reasonably priced. There's als6o toilet that costs 10 baht. You can snorkel but be careful not to venture too far out as the current can be strong. The swimming, the water gets deep quickly, but I found it safe and easy to swim in (I'm not a strong swimmer). Well worth a day trip if you can fit it into your schedule.

A little bit of a walk down the hillside through the trees to get to the beach. Its got everything you could want at a beach, food, drinks, places to sit down and its very scenic. The beach is calm and surrounded by greenery. Its worth spending a day there.

Beautiful place, fantastic water.
We came there by the boat and at 11am there was already a lot of boats and people there.
There are 2 shops/cafes right on the beach where you can buy all necessary (drinks, food, some beach stuff). No sunbeds available.

We stopped here along our tour, for a short time, it was so damn hot. I didn’t really get to enjoy it.

But that doesn’t take the beauty and serenity away, it was very tranquil and unspoiled. It’s in a little nook, creating its own personal Hideaway.

One of the most beautiful beaches on Phuket. It can only be reached by descending from a high slope, from a place where it is very difficult to park. Maybe that is why there are few people there. However, those who do get there are rewarded with a very special, eye-catching place. Beautiful bay, greenery, rocks, two small food outlets make the charm of this place stay with us for a long time.

Nice secret beach. Middle path down is the easiest. Be careful there are some big rocks in the surf. The tiki hut has cheap cocktails and food. Try to pick up some plastic. The locals do their best but the Thai government refuses to take rubbish that has been picked up on the beach so it's difficult for them.

A nice beach with beautiful water and plenty of natural shade. Two food stands with tasty food and drinks. There is no official parking so you'll have to park on the side of the road. Also it's a steep walk down the hill.

My second favourite beach in Phuket. Its worth the drive from Patong. Or you can hire a long tail boat from Patong Pier for a return trip. Two restaurants on the beach with very good food and the snorkelling is amazing!!

Very beautiful and peaceful beach surrounded by nature. There are a couple of bars where you can have lunch at a good price. It has an easy access, but not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Amazing beach.

Get there early to get a nice spot under the trees,

The shade won't last long as the sun comes over head and the afternoon there is no shade anywhere on the beach.

Do a little snorkeling to the left side of the beach. Loads of fish to be seen.

Highly Recommend: This was my favorite beach on Phuket island. It was less crowded, feeling more remote, only 2 vendors on the beach. For a day at the beach would definitely go here.

Parking is on the side of the road - a bit tight, but it works. Walk down is pretty simple, though not if you have trouble walking up and down the stairs (there are no real stairs though here, more of a steep trail down to the beach)
