A Serene Beachside Haven

For just a day at the beach, this place was a delightful discovery. The staff were incredibly welcoming, and the offer of a sunbed and a soft drink for only 100 Bht was a pleasant surprise.

The abundance of shade-providing trees added to the comfort, and the convenience of purchasing snacks and drinks right at the beach reception was a plus. This little paradise, free from loud music and filled only with the soothing sound of the waves, is perfect for a relaxing day by the sea.

Located at the end of the beach, it's a quiet spot rarely crowded with tourists, unlike the busier front part where sightseeing tours often drop off visitors for a few hours.

The owners are exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful, and the secluded bungalows hidden in the forest add to the charm of this tranquil retreat.

Beautiful spot on Koh Chang. The staff is so kind and helpful. The rooms which are right at the beach are clean. You can sit at your patio and watch the sea. The beach is perfect cause it’s no stones. Highly recommended

Wonderful small resort, bungalows right on the beach, next to a great restaurant (Bamboo Hut) and massage place (Ben Massage). Very helpful with transfers etc and reasonably priced. Rooms are fairly simple inside but have AC and fan to keep cool and good quality mosquito nets. Fresh water provided every day. No safe in the room and I couldn't get hot water but that's OK when it's so warm outside anyway (even in the sea)!

Amazing place. On the prettiest section of the beautiful beach, surrounded by greenery, there is a charming, very intimate resort where you can really relax. If you're looking for partying, it doesn't seem like a good place for you, but if you're looking for peace and quiet, this place is great. The service is great, extremely helpful and welcoming and the bungalows are comfortable and right on the beach. If you don't have a scooter, the place is a bit away from the busier part of the island, but several restaurants are also within walking distance.

Bungalow right by the sea with a nice beach. The owner is super nice and very friendly the same goes for the staff. The location is perfect for some quiet time on the beach.
The only thing I'd like to see improved is the bed. The mattress is a bit on the harder side and and I would sleep better if it was (softer) more comfy.

Stayed in a wooden bungalow which was smallish but lovingly maintained. You can tell a lot of care goes into creating a clean and pretty environment here. The owner and helpers were all attentive and great. Salas are bigger and have bigger front windows but the wooden bungalow was fine for us. They all have the same garden and beach view from the front row. Plenty of places to walk to nearby for food/coffee/drinks. If arriving by taxi you can call them to pick u up from the main road so you dont have to drag your luggage through the sand.

I am very enjoying my stay at Bangbaobeach Resort. The property is right next to beach and the price is very reasonable. A lot of nearby restaurants. The place may be far for some people but if you looking for peace and quiet, this is properly the place.

Great people, location and laid back atmosphere. Jebbie runs the place and made sure we were happy. Just a short stroll down the beach was Mr A’s restaurant and a place to get massages. It’s secluded and off the beaten path, but that is what we were looking for. Mr A cooked great food and hooked us up with a private charter boat to take us snorkeling. If we needed a ride anywhere Jebbie took care that too. Great place to chill on a beautiful island.

One of the best places we have ever stayed. Amazing staff, brilliant location, quiet but enough places to eat & drink. A true slice of paradise. Can't wait to return. 5 stars xx

Rooms are basic but very clean,
the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The beach is super, sufficient sunbeds available and shade is problvided by big trees on the beach. The location is probably the best on Ko Chang.

Nice, very quiet and well looked after place.

The Bungalows are clean and nicely done, with ac and hot water. Build from bamboo, they are cozy and comfortable.

The beach is partly shaded with trees, which gives a relaxing atmosphere. It's clean and the water is not as shallow as in most beaches (it covers more than your knees after a 100 metres in).

You are warmly welcomed by the exceptionally friendly staff. All in all a small oasis to stay and come back.

I absolutely loved this place. We even extended our stay because it was so comfortable and convenient. Great huts in the beach, lovely owner that did everything to make our stay unforgettable, and the restaurant next door was the best. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

We spent 10 days/nights at this fabulous resort.
We knew Koh Chang and Bangbao Bay in advance, but we have never stayed at this resort before. We knew the resort is situated at a beautiful and tranquil beach, but on top of that we were delighted by the cleanliness of the huts and the friendly service extended. Khun Jebbie and her staff runs a very clean and well-organized operation.
Some weeks after having booked the resort via booking.com we were contacted by khun Jebbie. She informed us that prices had dropped, and she recommended us to re-book our room in order to obtain a discount. Having arrived at the resort we were even upgraded to a superior room t the same reduced price.
Not only did khun Jebbie organize our transport from Bangkok to the resort, but she was also invaluable in coordinating our mandatory second PCR-test with the hospital in Koh Chang as well as communicating the result to us.
The resort and the huts have a beautiful view over Bangbao Bay. The sound of the waves and the bird and gecko calls at dusk underlines the tropic atmosphere.
the beach restaurant next door serves a variety of excellent Thai and European dishes. Rent a scooter (200 THB per day) at a nearby shop and you have access to the entire island.
Serenity in full blossom. We will be back.

We had such an excellent stay at Bangbao Beach Resort ! The beach, the garden, the bungalows : everything is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Hosts are very welcoming and kind : Thai hospitality at its best ! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Koh Chang.

Great location, nice garden and 15m from the ocean. The beach has good restaurants and is a very relaxed location, not as tourist as white sands or lonely beach.

This small resort is a perfect place if you like a quite place where you can chill, relax, enjoy tranquility, a nice beach, and have some good thai food. The rooms are clean, simple but with good beds and large badroom. The staff is super kind and helpful. Next door you can enjoy great food at the restaurant 'TheBest@Bangbaobeach'.

Khun Jebbie is a fantastic host and the resort location is just fantastic and speaks for itself. While the bungalows are basic, you still have everything you need and if you miss anything ask Khun Jebbie and she will organize.

Nice Bungalows, beautyful beach

I have been scared to give my review for Bang Bao Beach Resort because I don't want the secret to get out. I am absolutely in love with this place. If there is a Heaven on Earth then this is it for me. Jeab and her friendly team do a wonderful job of maintaining this paradise. If you want to get away from your life and away from all of Thailand's tourist islands , then this might be the place for you. A great place for peace and quiet. Also a great place to meet some of locals. Real Thai people who aren't concerned about the outside world or the tourist dollar. If only I could work out how I can become a permanent local then my life's work would be complete. I will see you soon Bungalow 3.
