Tearoom Klopačka

An afternoon visit to the Teahouse in the Knocking Tower (Klopačka) is a must in the Banská Štiavnica. The picturesque building is the best place to relax and submerge into feeling of timelessness in the beautiful city. The tea menu has unbelievable 50 pages. The tea house also offers selection of coffees and spirits. We tried our favorite teas: the Alpinist (black tea with rum) and the Pretty Woman (tea with milk and Citrus Fernet, bitter spirit). Excellent, as always.

It is not just a teahouse but a really special teahouse with a wide variety of quality teas highly recommended for tea enthusiasms in a historical and cultic place. The atmosphere is a mixture of historical and Himalayan style. Just from teas made with milk they have a 3-page list to choose from and I LOVED it. Perfect place to play boardgame or have a nice chat. Don't miss it out!

Looked at all of the raving reviews and went in - even though not so sure at the first glance, tbh. A bit of a ‘worn out’ feeling because of the cracked cup or the toilets (and maybe the outside shabby-ish setup).

Anyhow... Tried the Genmaicha green tea, the Milky Yogi Aturveda, and the Arabic cardamom coffee, and... Loved it! Taste and service have nothing to criticized about. Highly recommended for the teas &co. lovers.

Interesting place to say the least. It feels like a scene from a movie. There's a ton tea and shisha choices on their 100 page menu. You wouldn't be disappointed given the place has number of dinning settings. In the winter sitting next to a wood fireplace is quite a cozy setting.

In this tearoom you can get delicious teas from all over the world and tasty Turkish coffee. Tearoom is located in the historical centre of the city but it's not too crowdy which is really nice. There is also great view from their outdoor seating. We have liked this place much.

Shisha tasted good, we were satisfied with the waitress and services. We add 1+ point for the blanket she gave us, when it was cold outside

Personally I love it there. The atmosphere is great and I love teas and staff. However, if I look at it objectively, I'd have to say it has its flaws, such as small spaces, and some people may dislike the sort of 'stoner' atmosphere; while the staff may be very nice, they make mistakes more than rarely but less than frequently. Just try it 🤔

Really nice and cozy place. I won't have shisha next time but I will be back for the tea :) Tea and milkshakes are amazing and there is big selection.

Cosy and calm place where you can enjoy delicious tea or tabaco. Go outside and take a view on whole town panorama.

A lovely place with a good selection of tea. I'd recomend to try the 'strudla' pastries.
