The Zamzam Well (Arabic: بئر زمزم, romanized: Biʾru Zamzam Arabic pronunciation: [biʔru zam.zam]) is a well located within the Masjid al-Haram in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. It is located 20 m (66 ft) east of the Kaaba,[2] the holiest place in Islam.
According to Islamic narratives, the well is a miraculously generated source of water, which opened up thousands of years ago when the son of Ibrahim (Abraham), Ismaʿil (Ishmael), was left with his mother Hajar (Hagar) in the desert. It is claimed to have dried up during the settlement of the Jurhum in the area and to have been rediscovered in the 6th century by Abd al-Muttalib, grandfather of Muhammad.

Millions of pilgrims visit Mecca and Medina each year to perform the hajj or umrah and drink water from the zamzam well.

The Zamzam well is a gift from almighty Allah. This is related with Prophet Hazrat Ismail Alaihis Salam and his Mother Hazrat Hajra RadiAllahu anha's history. Since that time people are getting benefits from this Zamzam well. Till the last day of the world will be!!!

What a beautiful place Maccah is, Subhan Allah! It should be every Muslim's dream to visit this place atleast once in a life time. Set visiting this place as your very first priority. It's totally worthy and Alhamdulillah I was truly blessed to be here and see the holy kasbah from my own eyes. Mashallah. I really love this place, and this place will stay in my heart for ever 💓

The most blessed holy water on earth is zamzam. It itself is the sign of purity. Whoever wishes to recover from any sickness he should drink it with the intention of getting shefah from it. May Allah grant his dua. Say bismillah before drinking zamzam and drink while standing after drinking say Alhamdulillah and make dua.

Zam Zam well is located 21 meters from the Khana Ka'bah, towards the side of the Maqam.e.Ibrahim

Ibraheem AS took his son Ismail AS and the child’s mother Hajra AS to Makkah where he left them with only some water and dates as provisions. Once the provisions ran out, mother and son became thirsty and restless. Hajra AS climbed up Mount Safa to see whether she could sight any people from whom she could get water. When she saw nothing, she crossed the valley and then climbed up Mount Marwah for the same reason. When she saw nothing here either, she started running from Safa to Marwah and back again in her anxiety. When she had done so seven times and was on top of Mount Marwah, she heard a sound. When she returned (to where her son lay), she saw that an angel had struck his wing on the ground, causing water to gush forth from the spot. The name of the well comes from the phrase ‘Zam Zam’, meaning ‘stop flowing’, a command repeated by Hajra AS during her attempt to contain the water.
