I can highly recommend Ivo and his team for surf lessons. Not only that they are very professional, they are at the same time kind, attentive and fun. Vagabond is an amazing surf school to get your surf lessons.

I had a wonderful experience. I took two lessons with them the last two days of my trip. The staff is friendly, patient and so helpful. They look at your level and try to help you wherever is needed ^^.

What I loved most about them is how they saw the little mistakes you make and tried to adjust them each time so you could learn it the correct way from the start.

Friendliest instructors I’ve come across! Incredibly nice and patient, all have an interesting way of teaching and a great attention to detail. We had a great surf class with Ivo and his team. Small group and enough trainers to learn in good steps just from the beginning.
Ivo is such a passioned teacher and looks for everyone in the group. I felt that my 8 year old was absolutely in good hands too. I highly recommend his surf class and will come back for shure!

Amazing surf school! All the coaches are super nice, helpful, very patient and fun. But at the same time, they are professional. There is a beautiful atmosphere, and people support each other.
There is always enough coaches for the people, so you really have the chance to take maximum advises out of the lesson, and you have your time with the coach even when it isn't a private lesson. Another big plus is that they have surf lessons every day! Highly recommend to everyone, not just to beginners like me! :)

Great experience! Recommended by a local host and we are not disappointed. Was my first time surfing and the guys gave clear instructions to feel safe and ride the waves. 10/10 would recommend!

Took a surf lesson there together with my 6 year old son & we both had a blast! There was a dedicated teacher (Pedro) for my kid & even for the adults there was a very small teacher to student ratio. My teacher (Ivo) helped me identify the right waves & improve my timing. Near the end of the lesson I caught a few waves independently. My son also improved a lot and when he got cold he was entertained until the lesson was over. Thanks Ivo & Pedro for the wonderful time we had & hopefully see you again in the future!

Me and my friend had a private surf lesson with Pedro. He is a very good surf teacher, professional and very patient. I can highly recommend Club Vagabond surf school. Moreover, they are very flexible as we booked the lessons spontaneously the night before.

Very friendly and helpful surf instructors. Had about 10 lessons in small groups. The feedback was always very direct and helpful. I learned a lot about surfing and the ocean during this time.

Only good vibes. Ivo and his team outshine the surf lessons that I tried before. The small student-coach ratio means you get really personalized help so you can make quick progress. But it's not just technical, they also take the time to talk to you about everything around surfing and the waves. Team Vagabond are absolute babes. I'm inspired to keep taking lessons.

Ivo and Tiago are outstandingly passionate and dedicated teachers. The positive atmosphere and lots of personal feedback helped us improve beyond our expectations. We originally came for three lessons, but we had so much fun and learned so quickly that we couldn’t get enough of surfing with Ivo and Tiago! So, we came back for more! This surfing experience was without a doubt the highlight of our vacation, thanks to the wonderful team of Club Vagabond.

We have just had 5 days of family surfing with Ivo and the crew. Fantastic from start to finish. Lots of laughter and in some cases water swallowed. Lots of progress was made due to the quality of teaching (and of course some skill :) for some members of the family) The equipment provided was good quality and up to the task in hand.
