Tasca da Vila

They grill the fish in a visible area. The food is simple but the taste is mindblowing. One of the best fish dishes I have ever ate.

It was Christmas 2018, we were coming back from a day driving around and looking at the cliffs and beaches. Driving through town hoping to find a place to eat dinner and we saw this place open.

We went in and the waiter seemed a bit over-eager. I was really unsure, but beggars can be choosers. We were so totally won over by the amazing food and the super service. We also discovered our love of Peri Peri sauce! I can’t remember all what we ate, but it was all delicious and I should have written this review earlier, but, well 5 months later, here it is.

Tasca da Vila offers excellent grilled dishes in an inviting atmosphere. Prices are reasonable and normal around the region. Certainly fitting the quality of the fresh fish.

On my visit, I took the squids and enjoyed a baba de camelo for dessert. Service was also excellent.

Food is great at a decent price.
Staff are super kind with you. They really like to please you.
I recommend this place to whoever goes here in Vila Nova de Mil Fontes. You will not regret it.

Bitoque was so so so lovely! Sangria was also really good and the rest of my family also really liked the squid, lagartinhos and Mista de carne! 👌👌 Forgot to take a picture ahahha worth it though!

Brilliant local food and service. Visited again in June 2022. Had wonderful Sardines and great service.

Wonderful place to eat. Not expensive and has a very good variety in the list. Staff very helpful and caring.

The only thing bad is the prices are not that cheap but other than that, eat just fine, nice food and staff.

Food was as expected (nothing fancy) and service was great, with lots of smiles, which are hard to see in this town! 😄

Restaurant à l'entrée de la ville, situé sur l'avenue principale.
Grand choix de viandes et poissons grillés à des prix raisonnables. Les plats sont bien servis et copieux avec plusieurs légumes pour les poissons et frites, riz et "migas" pour les viandes.
Il faut être un peu patient car tout est grillé sur le moment, a peu près 30 mn.
Il y a une grande salle à manger et une terrasse extérieure. La terrasse donne sur la rue principale, passante.
Service de qualité. Acceptent les cartes bancaires.

Opción segura para comer bien en V.N. Milfontes todo el año. O peixe grelhado, é uma maravilha.

Bom ambiente, atendimento super simpático e a comida é excelente. Paragem obrigatória para comer.

Restaurante com excelente atendimento, boa comida, rápido no atendimento.
