Amazing place! Food quality is outstanding- service is perfect and to be very very honest - this place is one of the best restaurant on our list. Follow the wine recommendation - they are brilliant!

Amazing find!!! Delicious food, super friendly service and great room. Waiter was able to fit us in on a busy Friday lunch but definitely make a reservation if you know you're coming. Fantastic fish specials and extensive wine list. I highly recommend the pork with clams - best I've had in Portugal.

Incredible food, wine and service. We were lucky in the shoulder season and popped in to find a table. Try the black pork fillets over charcoal and the Dourada Golden Bream. Pair it with a delicious Alentjo red wine. The best meal of our entire 7 week trip through Croatia, Italy and Portugal. Thank you!

Great rec. The waiters were very friendly and gave us great suggestions. The sardine bruschetta was perfect. The “black pork” was utterly delicious. And the fish was light and tasty! They brought us acorn liquor to end the meal. And just the house wines were very good though they have a good wine list if you’re looking for something special.

We had a big portion of sardines and Trilogy of mushrooms and a dessert (sericaia). Everything was very delicious. After many restaurants that disappointed, finally one that shows, how awesome the portuguese cuisine still is.

A welcoming atmosphere fabulous service and oh so delicious food!!!! My friend had the white fish and vegetables - they served it at the table - deboning it. I am vegetarían so I was served rice and bean - crazy good! And vegetables that were so delicious I now know that life is fabulous without meat! I enjoyed a local wine also. Such a nice evening. Make a reservation ahead of time - the have 3 seatings at set times - we took the 7:30 pm 1930 hr time - the first for the evening. It was perfect!!!

Lovely restaurant in Milfontes with helpful staff and delicious food. The grilled fish is huge!! In hindsight, would have shared a few starters (the squid is a highlight) and one grilled fish between two.

What a treat this was! Our tour guide in Lisbon recommended we stop here for lunch. We got to the restaurant before they opened and debated whether or not it was worth waiting. We are so glad we did. The ambiance and decor in the restaurant was light and bright. The menus were offered in English and Portuguese. The wait staff was efficient, friendly, and attended wonderfully to all our needs. My husband tried the grilled cuttlefish, I had the sea bass. They were excellent but I wish one of us had tried their stews or curries as well - they looked delicious at neighboring tables. The wine recommendation from our waiter was perfect and the bread and olive oil starter highlighted local products. We ended our lunch with espresso and a capuccino and a slice of sericaia. 10 out of 10 recommend finding your way here and enjoying yourself.

Book a table in advance, especially during weekends. This is the best restaurant in Vila Nova de Milfontes and there is a lot of demand, especially during the high season. We went in January and still found it hard to book a table on the same day.
The food is typical Portuguese gastronomy and the ambience is inviting. Genuinely good food from the Alentejo. Prices are not cheap but they correspond to the quality of the food, service and overall atmosphere. The ofer in terms of wine is plenty, and the service is excellent.

Must go! One of the absolute best restaurants in Portugal! If you want to try real, traditional, high quality, amazing portuguese food you need to go to Tasca do Celso. Best food I ate in a long time and I'm portuguese!! The food is perfect, the wine is flawless and the people are amazing! Even the decoration is beautiful, very portuguese chic! Best restaurant in Milfontes. The food is outstanding, with helpful staff that talked us through the menu. Wine selection is also fantastic, with lots of local options from smaller vineyards. Our waitress was very friendly and had high attention to detail when playing the sole. Would highly recommended, make sure you book in advance.

You MUST go here. Book a reservation 5-7 days in advance for both lunch and dinner. It's well worth it. Great wines. Great meat. And the black smoked ham that they carve at the table in front of you is amazing. Best restaurant in Milfontes for sure!

This is one of the, if not the, best restaurants in Vila Nova de Milfontes. For Portuguese standards, it is a bit expensive but the food is excellent and the service too.
I had the fraldinha. It was great. For sure a recommendation!

One of my favourite restaurants! Seafood rice, meat, wine, you name it! You get what you pay..! Book in advance, and you might get lucky to sit in the wine room (if you ask for it!)! Expect delays if you booked the 2nd seating! Very good service and sommelier advice from Ze Pedro!
