After a long hike this restaurant was like from heaven. Very seldom have ice cold water and coke tasted so good! I also enjoyed their vegan lunch with rise and veggies. Nice view from the terrace. Friendly and welcoming service. I’m I would love this restaurant even if I hadn’t been hiking.

What a lovely place - right off the hiking trail - a bar in the back and a fabulous restaurant in the front. We had the local
Portuguese soup and also a few vegetarian options - the puréed sweet potato with mushrooms and the tomato soup with poached egg. Everything was amazing!!! Service was great!

Very accomodating for dietary preferences.
We loved the tomato soup, the fried cuttlefish and fried potatoes.
We sat on the terrace with our big dog and enjoyed the view and the service.
For lunch $$. For dinner $$$.

Amazing fresh seafood - we were a group of 12 and had such an amazing evening.

Love it! Been here many times, even twice in a single day! Book in advance! Friendly staff suggested their divine starter ('tibornas') consisting of toasted Alentejo bread with caramelized onions, grilled goat cheese, presunto and arugula; and since then I keep ordering it every single time!
Then I find it hard to choose among go for surf & turf, shrimps a Brás, monkfish rice or pasta and 'açorda de carabineiros' (served in the bread!).
Book! Lunch or early dinner on the terrace in the summer, but also in the cozy interior!
Small lounge terrace available on the back to make waiting time more enjoyable!

Great service with friendly staff. Food was great, menu options include several options suitable for all. Bit expensive but I guess you’re paying for the view/location. Highly recommend to go at dinner time to enjoy sunset, remarkable! Restaurant facilities, atmosphere and decoration are quite nice

Espectacular views and location. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in the area. Fine food, generous and tasty dishes and good presentation. Extensive wine menu. Price is also above average.

Food is really really good!! Ceviche was brilliant, like I was back in Chile! Octopus was a bit hard on the tails, but it seems like they make it like that as the rest was really soft. It comes with sweet potatoes, which were extraordinary! Finally, chocolate cake with "dulce de leche" sent me to heaven.
Service was friendly, professional and the waitress recommended me an excellent white wine, which she generously poured in my glass :) very happy about that gesture!

A very nice restaurante with a great view, a great decor and a very good service.

We went for one of the house specialties which was the Carabineiros and it was just incredible, even though it could have been a little more food. The desert was also great.

The overall experience of the restaurant is very high level with a good quality/price.

What a meal! One of the best dishes on our trip though portugal so far. Lemon rice with fish. Pro tip you can order it for one person so you can have other dishes off the menu. Prawns in butter and garlic a delight. Service was impeccable. Decor is eclectic and fitting. Romantic meal or group dinner.

If I could give 10 stars I would do it . Better pulpo I’ve ever eaten. Everything we ordered was delicious . Great service and lovely environment. We will definitely come back!

Best view in the area. Lovely outside patio. Great place for lunch or dinner. Wonderful place to watch the sunset. Most romantic spot I’ve ever eaten. A bit pricier but you’re paying for the view, and it’s worth it. Fish dishes are fabulous!

Amazing food and service. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was the best we had in a two week trek through Portugal. If coming for sunset, make a reservation!

We did of the desert though, as they make a "degustation" plate, with a lot, if not all of their deserts. Decadent.

Hard to put it in words... Amazingly fabulous! Will come close to it!
We started with an amazing ceviche of garoupa, then a fabulous alentejo tomato soup, to end with a tuna picapau. For desert we argued a lot, since we cold not decide and asked for another ceviche 😉. Great menu of wine we selected Dois Terrois, a super good wine great with the choice of food. Resuming it all... The weather, the decor, the view, the service, the package all amazing and to find it all in the same place I must say this is a one of a kind place. Sure I will be back as soon as I can!

We had a great time on a very rainy day in October. The food was terrific and the place really filled up.

Food was just great! Fresh and delicious. But, as good as the food, was the service - Sebastião, our host, was above and beyond. From giving food suggestions to local tips, he did everything, always with a smile on his face and always extremely respectful. Will come back for sure! :)
