Maharani Peniche

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Maharani Peniche, and it was an absolute delight for the senses. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for a memorable experience.

The menu offered a delightful array of Indian delicacies, and I must say, the samosas were nothing short of perfection. Crispy on the outside, and filled with a delectable blend of spices and potatoes, they were an ideal appetizer to kick off the culinary journey.

But the real star of the evening was the chicken tikka masala. The moment the dish arrived at the table, the aromatic spices tantalized my senses. The tender chicken pieces were generously coated in a creamy, rich tomato-based sauce that had the perfect balance of flavors. Each bite was a symphony of taste that left me craving for more.

The service was exceptional and i definitely going to come back again. ❤❤❤

I’ve had a lovely dinner here with my boyfriend. We had mango chicken, chicken tikka masala and mixed vegetable curry, as for the sides, we’ve ordered garlic and garlic and cheese naan. All the food was really delicious, and the waiter was really attentive. We will surely come back!

For sure some of the best Indian food Portugal has to offer! Delicious Currys and grilled meats, fresh naans and some very filling mango lassi! Great service and bollywood music videos in the background really finish the picture. Definitely check this place out when you're in Peniche!

What an absolute jewel of a restaurant in Peniche! We came looking for seafood but the delicious smell of food called us in to this restaurant. Rajendra could not have been a more hospitable host- he even gave us a special little dish of the extra hot sauce to try, and we loved it! Our new favorite place in Peniche! Everything we had was wonderful.

The best Indian food ever. The staff is very welcoming and friendly . We actually asked their advise and were not disappointed. The mix of flavours and chicken is simply perfect, and they have both spicy and non spicy options.

Indian beer is also something you have to try.

Don't forget to order the garlic bread which is perfect to finish out the sauce 😋

Amazing looking and tasting food!!!
The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious, the meat was tender and the portions well sized.
The Naan bread was extremely soft and warm!
The restaurant is beautiful and the staf very nice and attentive!!!

Super friendly, attentive staff. Even when it’s kind of early or empty the atmosphere is still nice. Exactly what I want in an Indian restaurant! Abundant tamarind, mint, and mango chutneys to put on complimentary papadam! Curries were served with little candles to keep them warm. Paneer makani was good but a little sweet. Great Indian tea!!! Would definitely return and recommend.

The waiters are super friendly ans make you feel welcomed. I love this place. I seriously wish this restaurant was in my hometown (as we are in Portugal visiting).

I visited Maharani in Peniche and I loved the cuisine.
We are vegetarian and they have variety of options. We decided to go with papadams with 3 home made sauces. I loved the mint one. For main we took garlic cheese nans, jerra rice, butter paneer and dish with spicy potatoes. We loved everything.

They have Kingfisher beer straight from India

Delicious food!! We took our starters and drinks as take away to see the sunset and came back for the main!

Affordable prices for good food and fast service. I got the chicken haryali and it was delicious and well presented. Seekh kebab appetizer was also tender and tasty.
