The food in the cafeteria is great value for money no matter if you choose your own fish or steak to put on the barbeque, today's special or mixes your own pasta dish.

This is the equivalent in Portugal to your known full scale supermarket. Good quality with reasonable prices that hold up to the likes of Aldi and LIDL

If you live in Farrel, Baleal but in Penuche as well this is the place where you need to go. There's 4 more big super market but Pingo is really awesome one, especially part with Fish. They also have very affordable restaurant with delicious meals.
