Parque da Quintas das Conchas e dos Lilases

I live near this park so I like to spend some time in it. The park is really big and located just in the middle of living area between buildings and schools. It has few areas - just grass to walk and play with pets and children, more old park, where you can find a hidden pond with turtles and many roads to walk, and more “forest” area. Green and has so many places to sit, read and chill. And I see this park is pretty popular in neighborhood.

Beautiful garden, right at the heart of Lumiar. It has two cafés serving drinks and quick meals. There is a dog park, and children playground, along with several abandoned farming structures (water tanks, etc.)

The garden is the result of the joining of the grounds of two villas, fact that is apparent in the name - Lilases and Conchas. A wall between the two was kept for the most part. The two properties werejoined in the late 19c by owner Francisco Mantero and are now under the City Hall management.

Quinta dos Lilases has a lake with two artificial islands representing S. Tomé e Príncipe, where the fortune of the owner Francisco Mantero had been made. Lilases' space is more uniformly covered with trees and is crisscrossed by paths.

Quinta das Conchas reminds of an "english landscape" garden, with a big central lawn, a lake, clusters of trees here and there and a wood area (a "mata"). In it, the ruin of a tower is said to have been the residence of Mantero's wife, "emprisoned" in her last years, gone mad, and forever haunting the place.

The big open lawn is stage for ball games and family gatherings and is very lively. Open air cultural venues (cinema, jazz festivals) are held in the park specially in the summer, and also a local farm's market.

The park is served by buses and subway (Quinta das Conchas station) and several different entrances.

Beware of opening times (not all gates have the same schedule though) -- winter: 6-20h, summer: 6-22h.

Are you into running 🏃‍♀? Meditating 🧘‍♂? Or maybe a pic-nic is more in tune with your belly🧺.

This park is just by a subway station and its the perfect place to retune yourself, alone or with friends.

From 6 am to 1 am everyday, I'm sure you'll be thankful to spend some time visiting ♥

Very beautiful park! Good for relaxing and exercising 😊 waterfalls, palmtrees and green fields! Playground for children and also toilets and places to sit and buy drinks/foods.

I simply love this park. Time just sort of stops when I walk there and I cannot take one bad photo. Green all year round, magical place.

A spacious park with plenty of lawns, trees and a three outdoor playgrounds with slides, a rope climbing structure and a few more toys. A lot of people head here for a jog, picnics and the occasional kids' birthday party.

Very nice park to take a walk, chill or take your kids

An exceptional park in the middle of the city. Great in the summer with lots of shade to escape from the heat and catch whatever breeze may exist. In the winter is a great place to walk.

Has a big areas for kids in their various development stages. From smaller to older kids that need higher levels of challenges.

It's big area includes a small wood area where it is possible to walk or run. If it is rest you need, then there are also various grass filled areas with and also without shade where you can lay down and read, talk or just sleep.

There is also two coffee shop, one with restaurant, and a kick kart rental.

Lovely parque/park in Lisbon!

I walk passed there nearly every day, and simply enjoy the lake, ducklings, greenery, and the exercising devices.
The park includes a restaurant as well, including toilets.

Note that I couldn't find the toilets in the park itself, I met a kind lady who was willing to help me out and walked me to the toilets at the restaurant.

It's huge! There's space for kids to play, restaurant, coffeehouse, workout machines you can use for free, and it's ideal for picnic or just for walking your pet.

Great park! Has two cafes, wide range of greenery, with a soft grass side on the bottom that includes water features and two kids playgrounds and on the top side of the park a more dense (forest like) park with trails, and a enclosed dog park. This top part is perfect for running or walking involved with nature. It will feel like you re not even in the center of lisbon!

One of the best and the largest park in Lisbon. It has an artificial lake and canals, woods, a cafeteria and a restaurant, and a picnic area.

A great place for parents and children and now during the summer they have an amazing playgroup for small children at 10 that is so educational and fun for the kids. We loved it. They even have 2 coffee shops and some nice play slides and climbing areas
