Torralta

We had cod (bacalhau) and bitoque They were both excellent. The cod came with boiled potatoes and a salad. The bitoque was thick pork and the fries were amazing. It was a unique Portuguese experience and we would recommend it. The price was less than 35€ including a litre of house wine (which was also good). The hostess was lovely. We are walking the Rota Vicentina and the quantity of food was very hearty - we felt very full at the end of our meal.

Loved this place. A budget restaraunt with good seafood dishes. Got monkfish rice, sardines, pica pau, and bifana. Our starters came at the same time as our mains, but the food was great for the price. Would def eat here again!

Guys, such a lovely place! We had lunch here after a round in Rota Vicentina. We were so hungry and it was late - 3pm. The host were so lovely and they made us feel as at home.
My calamari were simply perfect and the Choco Frito very tasty.
Please, if you are in Almograve do not miss this!

The place might seem less refined but the food and the kindness of the owners is really heart-warming. I 100% recommend stopping here instead of the other places ♥

Excellent fish dinner. Dorada (bream) with vegetables was fresh and very tasty. Home made chocolate mousse for desert. Recommened!

We had a wonderful dinner at Torralta. The fish and vegetables were done to perfection. The service was outstanding. We had a wonderful time visiting with other customers.

Amazing experience here at Torralta! Traditional Portuguese food with a tasca/ local restaurant vibe.
The food was excellent, fresh, not too fatty even for the fried things and the prices were a steal.
Hosts speak English perfectly and are very friendly and welcoming.
Definetly come here if you are offered the opportunity and never refuse a drink when offered :)) it is the portugues way to have a little something after eating.

Nice place, typical for Portugal. Good coffee, nice desserts and a good spot. It was perfect for breakfast.

Great grilled fish and friendly service

A lovey gem, the husband and wife team were wonderful hosts and helped us feel super welcome from when we walked in for an evening meal wondering if they were serving food, and directed us into the separate dining room, and offered a lovely simple menu of classic Portuguese dishes, hearty portions for walkers and great prices.

We were a group of six persons and came from hiking the Rota Vicentina, looking for a place to eat and came to this restaurant. We‘re in Portugal for quite a while alteady and that was one of the best food we had at all. Everything freshly made! And we can definitly recommend the vino tinto a la casa :-)! Great food and service, as well as a great price. Thanks for a delicious evening!

My wife and I both had the grilled Dourada which was the fish of the day. It was cooked perfectly and served with boiled potatoes and vegetables. The house wine was good and inexpensive. It was quite busy at 6:00pm on a Sunday.

Great experience! I had the best fish I have ever eaten and the service was perfect. The personnel is extremely kind. We had a great evening, thank you very much!
