Tasty cuisine from Nepal. All the dishes that we had were not overly hot/spicy for our European taste :). Very good value for money. Very friendly and efficient service. Ordered food came very quickly. Fluent English communication.

Really good food and hospitality, especially as we were a big group. The people who run this place are very kind and generous. There is also pool and fussball to play before and after food! It was the best evening we had during our stay in Portugal! Couldn't recommend this place more!!

Where do we start? We ate here five times in one week. We came to a restaurant to eat and ended up leaving it with an extended Nepalese family.
We absolutely loved this restaurant. Traditional food, ran by a fantastic Nepalese family who treats you like you're part of the family as well.
We miss you guys, thank you so much for everything and we will keep in touch.
Oh yeah, the food. :) The food doesn't need a review, that was 6 stars for us!!!

Even though we were not hungry enough for a full meal, we had mango lassi and vegetable and chicken momo (steamed).
Bothe very good. Personally I preferred the chicken ones, but Bothe were perfectly cooked. The staff was super friendly, but what impressed me the most was that they are here for 5 Years and are perfectly fluent in Portuguese.
I would definitely try again something else.

One of the best authentic Nepalese / Indian dishes I ever tried! The shrimp tikka masala is delicious, the momos were as well incredible. And the family running the place is so good hearted & kind. Definitely my favorite in Portugal

We had dinner at Mar Azul a few days ago, after we finished hiking for the day. The Nepalese family who run this are really lovely people. The menu is a mixture of Nepalese, Indian and Chinese cuisine. We had 3 dishes and each was delicious. (The hint of 'smoke' in the chicken chow mein was so good!) And definitely try the momo!

It was perfect! The warm welcome, the place itself and the food....It really flew me back to Nepal!

A treat finding such a good restaurant in a town of limited choices. Huge selection of Indian and Nepali — no problem finding something to please vegans and non-vegans. We especially liked the vegetable pakora (using shredded potato more than potato flower) and vegetable mono (steamed dumplings filled with shredded vegetables). Nepali beer too. Very good value. Very friendly service in fluent English.

Amazing momos and fantastic service. The staff is very knowledgeable about veganism and is able to make almost all of the vegetarian dishes vegan. Lovely family-run atmosphere, and staff speak fluent English and Portuguese. Very glad we found this place!

Great Nepali Kitchen. Really authentic and tasty food. We tried a Lot of different dishes and everything was good. Loved the momos. The waiter was the nicest guy and the food came fast as hell. By the way... It's really cheap! Go there!!!

Lovely Népalaise restaurant! Affordable prices and the best service. The team was super friendly and always delivering jokes. Food was also delicious, especially the veggie korma and the garlic naan. On top of that they have a pool table and bar, we left extremely satisfied with full bellies, and big smiles, wishing you guys all the best!

Fantastic Nepalese/Indian restaurant in the middle of Costa Vicentina. Better than the ones in the big cities. Excellent food, cheap prices and a wonderful service. I highly recommend it

Highly recommended! As lovers of indian and nepalesian cuisine we had to check out this restaurant since we also got a recommendation from our hotel owner (natura maris). It was outstanding, especially the vegetarian options we appreciated very much! We also took some Take-away Samosas for our next-day hike. The very attentive and friendly service made it a nice experience!

We were shocked by the prices at this restaurant. Amazingly affordable and delicious food! If I lived here, I'd eat here every day. Really kind service also. I'm coeliac and they helped guide me to the gluten free options. 10/10 recommend.

Great Nepalese food, perfect service! Makes for a good change on the Rota Vicentina. The best dinner we had in Portugal so far. Our kids loved it as well.

Certainly the best Nepalese food I’ve eaten in Portugal. Authentic and full of flavor. A must even if you need to go out of your way as I now do. Super friendly staff. Momo a must as is Dahl soup for starters. Obviously very vegetarian friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.

We were very surprised to find an authentic Nepalese restaurant in Almograve and amazed by the vast menu and the high quality off the meals (which we tested quite extensively). For ~15 Euro per person even the better eaters were quite satisfied in the end. Also the staff has been very friendly and the stay has been very enjoyable all around.
