Just an amazing local pastry shop where we enjoyed and amazing coffee in the company of 2 great homemade cakes. Definitely recommend. And the bill for 2 people was only 6 euros .

Friendly, helpful, polite and English speaking staff. Delicious freshly baked Portuguese Bolo-Rei (Christmas King Cake) this cake is one of must-try while in Porto. We also tried bean and boiled egg salad, roasted meat with potatoes and bacalhau croquette, all for €18.50 for two people. Excellent food for great prices. Highly recommended.

Huge variety of items, all a good price. The man working there was also very helpful. He guided me through the traditional pastries and cut slices of larger items for me. He also gave me a free cookie before I even bought anything!

We spent 3 days in Porto and only had breakfast there, food is amazingly good and cheap, service is great and friendly. A must in Porto!

Excellent low budget eatery, offering good wholesome meals and lovely bread and cakes to eat in or take out. It was just round the corner from our hotel too. They also provide beer, soft drinks and very good coffee. They have a lovely traditional rich fruit Christmas cake all year round - on the photo.

Come in the morning and order Cafe Galao (coffe with milk in glass) and Pao (bred simply with butter).
The place is packed with locals enjoying this basic, tasty combination.
Pastries are quite average, but the one in window shop, with nuts, rasins.. perfect. Perfect.

Great food and coffee. Their puff flakes, Portuguese egg tarts, ham bread, and chocolate chips cake are excellent! the uncles who served the food are also very warmth, spot on service too!

Muy contentos. Dulces típicos ricos y a buen precio. El personal muy amable y atento. Totalmente recomendable.

Very happy with this bakery. They offer traditional sweets at a very good price. The waiters were very nice. I would recommend this bakery if you are looking for a nice place to have breakfast or enjoy a coffe.

In a city full of old-fashioned wonderful bakeries, this one still gave me a deep impression. First, it has a specialty, the Bolo Ray (king's cake), which they can cut to size as you wish. Then the array of other sweets (I had their version of Pao de Deus), and the no-nonsense atmosphere to sit at the table and chow down the food with a good cup of coffee. The waitstaff was efficient, helpful and speaks enough English to communicate with. It reminds me of the old cafe my grandpa used to take me to in my hometown.

Super nice stuff and really good sweets at cheap prices!

We went twice on the same day, for breakfast and in the afternoon for a "dessert". You feel welcome in the moment you arrive and there is a great variety to choose from, but more in the morning that in the afternoon!

A local bakery where only one staff can speak in English but it was really cheap and delicious.

Lovely bakery with good prices (e.g. Pastel de Nata for 0,70€ instead of 1,10€ at most other places), super nice and helpful staff and the food tastes amazing. Can only recommend this place and will definitely go there again when back in Porto
