Mercado Bom Sucesso

We actually stumbled upon this place, thinking we were visiting fresh food market, as it is actually a posh, food court/hall, which was a pleasant surprise.

The interior is stunning and very inviting, we loved just walking around taking it all in, it will be interesting to see if the other Mercado's are like this one.

We decided to eat at Daterra as it was excellent value at 10.50 for lunch, the food was tasty, and the dishes numerous, being a buffet we had our fill.

All in all a wonderful experience.

Great place to visit. Make sure you include it in your visit to Porto. The prices are very fair and the food is amazing. Many locals come here to enjoy a good meal and have a nice evening. Often with live music. I highly recommend this awesome food hall.

A really nicely renovated food hall. Located away from the tourist centre and in a local upmarket neighbourhood. This is a to go place for Porto residents to have a variety of restaurants and cuisines to choose from. Lovely relaxed vibe and a good choice for every palete.

Mercado Bom is the perfect place where you can try local food rich in variety - and delicious portugiese wines. We were every single evening there for the whole Christmas holidays.

Get in touch with people, delicious food and drinks. From cocktails, beer, wine and smoothies they have almost everything.
The had a make over of the place it looks so fancy.
There's although a continente store.
We spent a whole day there and can recommend especially the soup, the muns, the beerkingdom and the cocktails.
We tried out almost everything but it would have been to much.

Highly recommend that place.

A porc sandwich (their 1 euro bag of chips were amazing) and you can get a nice glass of Prosecco to go with it.

There is also a grocery store you can pick up some munchies or get some sardines to take home or have as a snack.

Really great food market, a wide variety of food available. Portuguese food as well as other types available and deserts. Drinks alcohol and non alcohol.

Amazing place with such a good Quality food. A lot to choose, everything is delicious and fresh. I tried steak, risotto mezican food. Great localization espessialy for hotel da musica guests. I was really surprise with the place. Hope to go there again to try more tasty meals.

Plenty of activity and a nice vibe! Great selection of food stalls - including several dedicated to vegetarians and vegans. Also nice spots to sit and have a sangria or cocktail.

Excellent food hall with lots of quality mainly Portuguese style food outlets. There is a fantastic bar in the middle with so many good beers on draft that it's difficult to select which one to drink. There are outlets with meat dishes, seafood, salads and vegetable based dishes and a wide range of sweet treats such as local ice cream and several glorious cake stalls. The crowd is mainly locals and the prices are very reasonable and on the low side. The place is very comfortable, clean and with lots of seats. Brilliant place for groups and a really nice spot to get to try various local dishes and specialities.

Cool place to stop by for local food options . I like how clean it is and it’s next to a supermarket I like. There is also a vegetarian buffet in this market for those who don’t eat meat. The buffet is like 10 euros as of May 2023.

Amazing place to find a big variety of food. Also some are very affordable getting high quality meat at a nice price. We also had a very good cake that seemed handmade and very delicious. People are kind as always.

Btw the sandwich accompanied with the vegetable chips was 3.7 euros. Quite nice 👍of course it had to be accompanied by a stout.

I have to say this is a food paradise!!
The indoor food market is decorated like a department store, bright and spacious. Gathering different types of food stands, such as fresh seafood, bifana (pork chop buns), burgers, beer, port wine, cakes, coffee and salads, etc., and the prices are also fair. You'll definitely find something you like.

Next to a local supermarket, you could also do the treasure hunt together.

A very convenient place you can eat and drink from domestic food and drink to vegan, vegetarian or even more popular choices like hotdog and bear. I recommend it. Very clean also.

Lovely place with lots of fresh meals options. Really chill place of is not overcrowded (we got there for lunch before 1 pm and it was perfect)
