Perfect location to stop during your hike, the piri piri chicken was well cooked with home made sauce, the tarte mista dessert was really good too! Our waitress Sophie was the most adorable and provided us great advices about the food and the region. View is stunning

We've just had a brilliant meal. We used to come here often when we lived in Lagos. We have had mixed opions from our friends, we're here on holiday, so decided to try for ourselves. Sophie who served us is terrific, very helpful. In our opinion, we have to say that it is much better now! We will tell our friends to come back too.... Their batatas fritas are still home made, the frango🐔🐔 are better, and the chairs are more comfortable!

Best Piri-Piri Chicken ever. I love the friendly people. I recommend the tomato salad. The fries are part of the chicken. Have been here 3 times in two weeks and it's consistently great 👍🏼

The food was very tasty and the portions were huge for a lunch. Piri-Piri Chicken is a must if you eat here. All very well priced.

Making this our Sunday evening dinner spot. Quaint little place along the side of the road as you near the peak of the hill. Our server is the brother in law of the owner. They have the best French Fries in Monchique.

Outstanding and delicious chicken piri-piri, chips and salad cooked by the very talented chef 'Henrique' coupled with excellent warm friendly service from José - Rampa is a superb traditional family run restaurant in an idyllic setting with views of the sea. Highly recommended. NB. ask for the lemon mouse for dessert (if its avaliable) to complete a superb meal. Great value.

Excellent. Super friendly staff. We turned up very late in the afternoon and they still served us moist, spicy chicken plus plain chicken for our 6 year old. Great value, great atmosphere, great view. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

Owner has great sense of humour. No need for a brassiere as tables high (or are the seats low?). Generous portions of chicken and excellent molho piri piri. There are other options but for over 30 years we've chosen chicken piri piri and chips. Good view, clean loos, and choice of bottles or jarros of wine.

While only a small restaurant, it's a little gem. It has amazing views down over the Portimao and Lagos estuaries, which you can gaze at while dining on the terrace. The food is excellent and fresh cooked and, as always in Portugal, the staff are welcoming and friendly.

After trying a handful of places, I believe I found THE best chicken piri-piri with fries in monchique. The service is fantastic, friendly staff and amazing location.
