Would come again! Authentic & nice food. I complained about the colour of the orange and the owner explained me that his friend produces them locally - he also gave me one for free. Delicious coke and I am still alive. 😄

My friend and I both got the shrimp pasta and we absolutely loved it. It was so flavorful and the pasta was cooked al dente. We also enjoyed the fact that there were both big and small shrimp in the pasta.
The service was extremely nice and energetic, it lightened our mood after we got rained on.

Clean, spacious place, with very tasty food and friendly staff. Free parking right in front of the restaurant. We ordered shrimp pasta and bream fish. The waiter recommended bream over brass, since the extra fat and thickness gives the fish more flavor. And he was right. We strongly recommend. The prices are affordable.

Super good food - I had the menu of the day (grilled pork chops) and they were perfect!

I came here for breakfast and ordered shrimp omelette with salad and cappuccino. It was very delicious and fresh. I had very friendly service who spoke good English. Food came quickly and it was very lovely to sit outside to eat and relax

Recently visited Helders for the first time since Covid, and nothing has changed, with food and service excellent as always - if anything the food is even better. Had the seafood rice, which was the best I've ever tasted, and my wife had the prawns with cream in pasta, which was also superb. So Helder and his team are still killing it! Worth going out of your way to visit - not to be missed in Carvoeiro!!! R & A

If your around the area of rocha brava make sure you visit Helders bar. This guy is the perfect gentleman and knows how to please his customers too. He makes sure your always looked after and chats with every customer he can. Making you feel like you have been there many times before knowing you will go many times after. You will not be disappointed at all. Great place to visit...

By far the best place we went to for lunch and dinner during our stay in Carvoeiro. At first glance it doesn't look like the most fancy place, but every dish is fantastic and it is very reasonably priced. Avoid the tourist traps of Carvoeiro town centre and head here!

An unassuming frontage with a lovely set dining room inside, with good food to match.
Portion sizes are healthy and the mixed tapas starter, and pepper steak was delicious and cooked as requested. At 3.2 euros for a glass of wine, an extremely good evening.
Garlic mushrooms were also very good, with a healthy portion of pork tenderloin, perhaps slightly overdone, but nothing really to complain about.
An impromptu drop in dinner, and well satisfied.

We loved our late morning meals at Helder’s. It is the perfect local, relaxed outdoor dining experience thanks to the owners dry wit and affablle nature!

Managed to get a table on an extremely busy night. Although service was slow to start off with, it soon picked up and the staff were very attentive without being intrusive. Great choice of food which was well cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. Helders was recommended by a fellow tourist and I'm glad we took up the recommendation.
