Quinta do Torcaz

An amazing place to stay! The hosts are very kind and helpful and have good tips or where to go and where to eat.

The appartment we had was very well equipped, it had everything and more than we needed, including an oven which we used every day. It also has a very comfy couch and the most comfortable bed we had in the whole of the Açores.

The garden they have is amazing and we really enjoyed the explanation about all the plants and palm types. They also grow herbs that you can pick for dinner or tea as well as lemons and bananas.

The terrace has an amazing view and is a very great place to spend time.

I highly recommend staying here for a few days!

Quinta do Torcaz was the perfect way to launch our Faial/Azores travel!
Communication, check in and our time there were easy and restful.
The owners are very friendly and informative on what is new and current.
We were very impressed with their commitment to excellence.
This space sets the bar for what other lodging on the island should strive for!

This is a really lovely place with supernice Hosts and you feel home immediately after arriving. There is parking space right in front of the house, a wonderful view over the sea and Mount Pico, quiet place with a spectacular garden. You could use a BBQ if you like. The WIFI provided is super fast and really rare on the island. You could work in a home office from there. I will be back for sure.

It's truly amazing. The rooms are great, the owners are fantastic, and the view of Pico Mountain is breathtaking.

Top accommodation and location.

Mooi appartement met alles wat je nodig hebt. Fantastisch uitzicht en mooie groene tuinen met kruiden en fruit wat je mag pakken.
Filipa is een super gastvrije host die je graag helpt en tips geeft voor in de buurt. Ook vooraf fijn contact.

Gastvrije ontvangst door de eigenaresse en keurige rondleiding over het complex. Prachtige plek en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vanaf gemeenschappelijk terras schitterend uitzicht op Pico. Ruime parkeergelegenheid.

Wat een oase van rust, dichtbij een leuk strandje en 10 minuten van het centrum! Mooie appartementen, geweldige tuinen met van alles voor de thee en eventueel om te koken en een weids uitzicht vanaf het dakterras… maar bovenal een zeer warm welkom door de gastvrouw met leuke tips over de omgeving en bijzonder schone kamers! Als zeer prettig ervaren!

Wat een prachtige plek met een geweldig uitzicht! Echt een aanrader! We hadden een ruime kamer met keuken, wasmachine, badkamer. Je kijkt uit op het eiland Pico en hun tuin met fruitbomen. Filipa is ook een fijne en vriendelijke gastvrouw.

Erg mooie plek met prachtig uitzicht! Echt een aanrader! Wij hadden de kleinste kamer, wat een prima kamer is, het enige nadeel is het kleine bed (1.40m) en er waren weinig ramen waardoor het wat warmer in de kamer was. Filipa is echt een fijne gastvrouw, erg behulpzaam!

Die Quinta do Torcaz ist wahrlich ein Juwel. Liebevoll dekorierte und gepflegte Apartments, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Dazu ein großer gepflegter Garten. Die Eigentümer Filipa und Vitório begrüßen die Gäste und weisen in die tolle Anlage ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und sagen Danke !

Fomos muito bem recebidos na quinta, mal chegámos ficámos logo a saber toda a história da ilha do Faial, os donos foram super prestáveis e muito simpáticos!
As casas estão muito bem decoradas e com todos os utensílios que possam precisar, da cozinha até uma grande preparação em caso de covid, está tudo pensado ao pormenor, para não falar da vista magnífica para a ilha do pico!!

A Quinta do Torcaz situa-se num local aprazível e muito sossegado, com vistas fabulosas sobre a Ilha do Pico. As instalações são modernas e muito confortáveis. Também a destacar a simpatia com que fui recebido. Foram très dias magníficos e retemperadores..

Appartement très bien équipé das une propriété au calme. Superbe vue de la terrasse partagée! Jardins très agréables. Besoin d’une voiture pour pouvoir se déplacer.

Anfitriões 5 estrelas. Casa com vista para a ilha do Pico... Um luxo. Boas acomodações e à chegada somos brindados com mimos locais e muita cortesia. A repetir.
