Great seafront location with stunning selection of wines - perfect place to enjoy the sunset at the end of the day.

Food was excellent; octopus was grilled to perfection. Service was friendly, great balcony/terrace upstairs to watch the waves.

Price was reasonable given the very special location.

You really come for the sunset here. The vibe on the terrace is really unbeatable on Pico. Food isn’t bad and the drinks are quite good, definitely worthy of an instagram story. Great service too. And if you’re trying to get hold of sourdough bread (nearly impossible on Pico), they’ll sell you some if you’re lucky. Definitely would recommend!

Five stars based on uniqueness of restaurant design and location. The view is stunning and the absolute best seating is on the upper level balcony. We enjoyed the coffee menu in the afternoon as well as the cocktail menu in the evening. The kitchen opens at 6:30 and dinner was enjoyable. I especially enjoyed the local bread basket and fennel biscuit. It’s a great addition to whatever appetizers or main dish you order. The octopus was decent, however the potatoes were a bit dry. The service was so-so but I really can’t complain with such a view. They do not take reservations so it is first come first serve for the best table. They have a nice wine selection to order or purchase by the bottle. Cella bar is definitely a must see during your trip to Pico. There is a lovely swimming area right in front of the restaurant. We watched many people swim and then enjoyed dinner.

WoW, we sat down only for a quick drink and a few snacks. They were so delicious, we ended up eating a 3 course dinner and watching the sun set over Faial

Super popular, it definitely doesn't need my feedback. Then I just add my compliments. First to the architects and the owner. We had the chance to watch an astonishing sunset over Faial Island. And to eat a great dinner with the best grilled tuna I've ever tasted. And a very good low-temp cooked octopus with delicious vegetables. The service was perfect, including time to get the dishes. The food was really delicious. The starters and mains were great but the chocolate mousse was definitely the best I ever had. My boyfriend and I loved it here so much we came twice during our stay in Pico. The view from the terrace is also amazing!

A cool renowned bar right outside Madalena parish. With friendly staff and splendid views on day, night and sunset over the rooftop terrace. Haven't tried out the available dishes but the gin and blueberry mojito were great!

Modern and cool restaurant close to the sea. The views from the terrace are awesome and the personnel is really kind!
The grilled octopus is really good and the BBQ ribs tasty as well!
There are several salads at the menu and the local cheeses to taste.
Wide variety of wines and spirits.

A bit outside with a nice view on the sea, you can enjoy wine and food in this architectual gem.
A bit more expensive but really enjoyable.

A must go in pico island!
It’s in almost every tour list and for some reason, it’s nothing more than a regular bar but it is unique due to the architecture.
Has 3 floors, plenty of space and a great view on the top.
The service was surprisingly fast but our order was small.
Has a small natural pool really near, its a really well spent afternoon.

One of the best restaurants I have been to, ever! Wish I could give 6 stars! Relax environment, beautiful architecture and amazing food! Also, the view is outstanding!

Highlights are:
- octopus roasted in the oven. Very very tender to the point of melting in my mouth.
- bbq roast ribs. Very tasty and perfectly caramelised.
- Lapas (limpets), one of the best in the island
- chocolate mousse with dark chocolate.

This is a rating just for the location, service, views, design etc. It's won design awards and it's location, views, seating areas are top class & possibly one of the reasons you should really visit here.
Can't comment on the food, but it's supposed to be good and perhaps 20% more than you'd pay at other restaurants in town - you'd be advised to make a reservation.

Nice place in a beautiful building just outside Madalena. From the rooftop terrace you have a spectacular view over Faial island and the breaking waves. Cella Bar offers great food, great drinks (including an impressive regional wine collection) for a fair price. By far my favourite spot on the island!

Despite this being a clear tourist restaurant, I had a pleasant afternoon drink and appetizer there. I tried some local white wine, though they were out of the one on the menu, there was a great substitute that I sampled. I also ordered the small local cheese board with bread and it was delightful. In addition, the restaurant is absolutely stunning both inside and out.

There is plenty of parking and the restaurant takes credit cards as well!

Such a unique fun place for dinner! Great ocean views from the table paired with a delicious sangria. Dinner and dessert were fantastic!
