Lovely place, centrally located. The rooms are fresh & bright, beds clean & comfortable. The shower is great but I found it annoying that when taking a shower water spills out onto the floor from 0.5" gap between the door.

What a gem of an hotel. So brilliantly located, with bars, cafés and restaurants close by. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean and all staff were helpful and friendly. We were booked on a room only basis, but decided to try the hotel breakfast on our first morning and it was so good, we had it every morning. For the selection of hot and cold food, it was very reasonably priced and because it was so plentiful, we didn't need more than a small snack, before dinner. A great find via Easyjet holidays. Highly recommend.

Great location. Everything is close by (especially the Bolhão market , the river Douro, and the São Bento estação). The rooms are always clean and presentable. It has everything one needs for a short-term break in Porto. I am very pleased with their services and the staff are always friendly.

I put 5 stars for this hotel. It is very good for a 3 star hotel. The room is big, the beds are large and we had a baby car for our 6 months baby. The breakfeast is great. The hotel is near historical city center, many restaurants and gelaterias are near by and it is close to public transportation and sightseeing tours pick-up spots. I highly recommend this hotel

We stayed here three times last year. It is our Porto go to hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms are good size and nicely done. The bar in the lobby is a bonus. The staff go out of their way to assist you. We had left a cell phone in the cab. We left an envelope at the front desk for the cab driver if he returned the phone. When we got back to the hotel, we had our phone back. The last time we had a room with a balcony view of the Church of Saint Ildefonso and surrounds. The other two times we had very cool balcony views with large balconies. We had the breakfast when we stayed in December, and it was very good.

Hospitality and friendliness from the front desk staff was wonderful. My wife and I stayed here at the start of our Camino Portugues and upon our return. Hotel staff were truly helpful with luggage storage while we were away, pointed us towards local parking (discounted!) when we had a car, and more. The hotel is very conveniently located to R. de Santa Catarina shopping and restaurants, the Bolhão metro station, and the São Bento train station. Douro river restaurants and shopping, and Vila Novo de Gaia are a 5-10 minute walk. Rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable. The hotel has a breakfast buffet option, although there are many cafes nearby where one can grab a quick bite to eat. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating to us and our 3-year-old. Rooms were clean, breakfast was well-stocked and varied. Pretty good location. A few shady characters hanging out near the entrance to the hotel, but that feels typical to Porto, so no surprises there.
On our second night, they put a group of rowdy partiers next door to us and we had to call down to reception twice to get them quiet. While the response was fast, I don't think their room placement was a good idea, next to a family with a small child.
On our departure day we hung out in the living room/ bar area to wait for our car, and one hotel worker (Anna) took our little one on a tour of the office and gym. She even gave him some fruit to eat from the dining room. Just really excellent, friendly workers with a warm and hospitable attitude.

Very nice hotel, I booked a single room as I was a solo traveller.

- Room was a perfect size on the 4th floor with great views, especially for sunset (photo attached). Very clean and comfortable bed.

- Staff were lovely and accommodating. There is a city tax of €2 per day which you will be told to pay when you check in.

- Very good location and about a 15 min walk down to the Ribeira district beside the River Duoro. Warning it is very hilly, but well worth the walk.

The hotel is on a great location to explore the city, downtown and near the subway and a train station. The hotel and rooms are well maintained, it is quiet enough, it has a gym and some meeting rooms. The breakfast was decent but not excellent. I was on the 6th floor which happened to have also a nice view.

My wife picked this hotel on a whim and it turned out very well. It's a nice looking tourist-class hotel, and the service was very good. The plaza-facing room was a bit spartan but clean and comfortable and we looked forward to the breakfast buffet each morning (with fresh-squeezed orange juice and plenty of fresh fruits and other healthy options as well as more traditional European breakfast fare). The room had it's own LG heat exchanger (heating and a/c), and with our terrace door closed it was absolutely silent in the room. We both slept very well. In fact, this part of the city seemed to be rather quiet in general {late March). We also found the location to be quite good, with easy access to all parts of the old town within a 10-15 minute walk and about an easy 15-minute walk to the airport train station (2 euro fare). We even walked to the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal (Crystal Palace), which took about 30 minutes each way, and was well worth it. There are several good spots to eat within a short walk, including the best coffee in Porto (C'alma Coffee Room). The only criticism I had was the shower, which was rather small to begin with (80 cm x 80 cm) and had a plumbing fixture setup that extended another 15 cm from the wall, with a pointy valve handle adding another few centimeters, and it could be rather musical when turned on if the diverter valve wasn't turned completely tight to one side or the other. We plan to stay here again on our next off-season visit.

First hotel I stayed in during my visit to Porto, Portugal and I can say this is absolutely one of the best location to stay in when it comes to Porto. It is pretty much in the center of the city and within walking distance of most of the tourist site. The hotel is on the biggest shopping street in Porto but it doesn't get loud and the views from the hotel are great too. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Porto.

The location is perfect, facing the beautiful Batalha square and sorrounded by manu cafeterias, restaurants and shops. The employees were very kind and helpful, the buffet breakfast was simply amazing, the room was big and nice.

The main reason for the five stars is due to the amazing staff people! They have been very very helpful and they we're trying to make sure stay excellent! The rooms were spacy and very clean. Breakfast was great too with plenty if option for food and drinks. The hotel is very close to the center of Porto and very close to Sao Bento train station. From there you can go for shopping or visit the Riviera and many other beautiful sites! This hotel will be my selection again when I go to Porto again. Highly recommended!
