We are so happy to live on Estrela Da Luz in this fine appartment 1B. We like that we have gym and pool inside ans outside. So fine. We comming back.

This was the best holiday my partner and I have ever been on.
First of all, my partner and I are part of the lgbtq+ community. We are always nervous going away because we are afraid of discrimination. However, we felt very comfortable in this resort.
Estrela da luz is clean and beautiful. The staff are amazing, especially the receptionist team. My wife, George, dislocated her knee while swimming. This happens to her sometimes, it's very nasty. She has a dodgy knee. I asked the receptionist for help and he immediately called an ambulance. The receptionist team were so helpful and kind to us during this difficult time. My wife was in a lot of pain, and they stayed with us until we were taken to hospital. The receptionist team then arranged a taxi for us to get back to the resort in. This made the process a lot easier for us. They were very kind and asked how my wife was feeling when we returned, asking if we needed anything.
Our apartment was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We felt very safe and peaceful.
The spa was luxurious. We got back massages and I got a facial. I really recommend this to anyone going here.
The swimming pool was perfect. Great weather, it was hot, so we swam every day.
There is also a gym here, that looked very good but we did not use this as it was our holidays.
Around the resort, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The beach was 10 minutes away.
We also visited the zoo and water parks. This was all possible for us because of the brochures in the resort and the receptionist team who helped us.

The best holiday ever! I recommend this place to everyone.

This was our second time staying in Estrela Da Luz and we enjoyed every minute of it! Apartment was spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped with a lovely balcony with sea views. The entire resort is spotless and the landscaping is impressive. Only a short walk to the beach and 2 lovely pools within the resort itself. We will be back in 2022!

Absolutely loved this place, big, spacious and light apartments, everything you need in the fitted kitchens, our apartment was 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. They have 3 swimming pools and an indoor one and the area round the pools is lovely, plenty of sunbeds. The staff were brilliant and speak good english.

Fantastic place! Our studio apartment lovely & spacious. All mod cons beautifully finished interior. All facilities on site are inclusive such as gym, indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Adjacent & adjoining is Hugo Beaty's Bar & Restaurant. Great place to eat & drink. 3 outdoor pools, well kept & stunning gardens. Will be back soon!

Love the location and amenities available here, though off season, staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
2 bedroom apartment unit was clean with thoughtful necessities bottled water, coffee, milk) provided.
Plenty of space for family of 4, definitely recommended for a week or 2

BEST KEPT SECRET IN LUZ
We had a wonderful time, accommodations are outstanding, clean, spacious, we enjoyed the indoor pool and Jacuzzi, on site restaurant, the beach is about 7 minutes walk, shops about 5 minutes walk, good restaurants nearby. Staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. I definitely do recommend this property. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one.

Lovely, lush surroundings add a beautiful peacefulness to this condominium. Equipped with heated swimming pools, both indoor and out; well kept tennis court and a gym catered for the fitness enthusaists. Highly recommended!

Fantastic place to relax and stay in Praia da Luz. Spaceous and well equiped apartments. Three pools (one only adults). Breakfast is included in the price and it’s very good.

10 minutes walk to the beaches and to the main bars/restaurants area.

It’s very secure in terms of covid safety measures.

A great place to spend your holidays if you are looking for relax, calm and couple/family plan.

We were given a warm welcome and directed to our studio room. The room was bright, airy, and very spacious. Even being a studio, with twin beds, there was still room for a full sized dining table with four chairs, two sofas (one two seater, one three seater), a TV unit, a coffee table and a side unit with a hi-fi on, and there was still plenty of room to walk around. The bathroom was beautifully presented, and fully stocked with fluffy bath towels, hand towels, a bath mat, first aid kit and a hairdryer, as well as Rituals bath products. The kitchen was equally well presented and stocked with milk, water, tea and a bowl of oranges on our arrival. The kitchen was equipped with both a washing machine and dishwasher, both of which were pristine and worked well. There was also an ironing board, iron and clothes airer. The balcony was clean with a table and two chairs, complete with cushions. No plastic patio furniture here!! We were in B1C, and had a sea view. Estrela da Luz is not a beachfront resort, so sea views will also incorporate views of buildings closer to the front. There are metal shutters on the patio doors and kitchen window. Amazing for total blackout and an excellent nights sleep. The room was air conditioned, which was very welcome. There was also free wifi in the room.

Estrela da Luz is situated towards the top of the hill leading away from the beach, however, this was not a concern for us. It is a gated resort, requiring codes to get in. The entrance to B block was around the back of the resort. This meant that to access the pool and reception areas, we either had to cut through the underground car park, or go out of B gate and back in through the next gate along. This wasn't an issue for us, but if you have a young family, I would recommend asking to be placed in a block with contained access.

We spent Friday near the 16+ pool. The whole area was clean, with plenty of loungers, and being out of season, it was fairly quiet. The inside spa area was beautiful. The jacuzzi was so relaxing, and the water in both the 16+ and the inside pools was warm. We used the gym on Sunday morning. Small sweat towels that smelt delicious were provided, as well as water coolers. There was a good selection of gym equipment, with plenty to go round. The hotel also offers fitness classes several times a week, including Pilates.

The staff could not have been more helpful during our stay. We booked a trip to the grottos at Reception. We were given a hotel discount, taking the two hour trip from €22.50 to €17.50, and given a bus timetable, with the relevant stops highlighted, and directions to the bus stop in order to get to Lagos (25 minute bus ride and €1.60 per person each way, well worth a trip). On Sunday, when finding our transfer pick up time online was proving challenging, Reception came to the rescue, phoning them for us and tracking down our booking. Monday morning, our transfer was late. As it was early (0615), the reception staff had not started yet, so the only person around was the security guard. When he realised we'd been stood there for 15 minutes, he asked for our booking paperwork. He then rang the company to chase them up. We were assured that it would be with us in 15 minutes. This time frame came and went, and still no transfer. The security guard rang them another three times and was just explaining our predicament to the just arrived receptionist, when it eventually showed up an hour and 15 minutes late, at 0730. He told us whilst we were waiting that the hotel have a company that they deal with when it comes to transfers, so in future I would certainly let the hotel handle our transfers.

There are two supermarkets within a 5 minute walk, the Spar in particular being very well stocked. Luz itself is small but perfectly formed.

Nice hotel/appartement offer. Everything is very clean. The gardens are well maintained and a lot of different pools are available. The beach is not very close but still in walking distance. Personel is friendly.

Fabulous place to stay. Everything you could want for a self catering holiday. Close to supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the beach. If you want to stay fit there is a well equipped gym, pools and a couple of coastal walks of around 4km each with climbs and downhill and some amazing views.

Fab hotel. Good food. Very clean. Oasis in luz really. Not a lot to do bar the beach 15 mins walk around small town couple of small bars n cafes. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere in suburb. €9 Taxi to lagos 10 min. Bus 30 min.

Great location, really nice apartment with a well equipped kitchen. Staff super friendly. Will certainly stay here again:)

Brilliant place to stay
Accommodation is clean and very spacious. Close to the beach, local restaurants and bars. Thoroughly recommend this for either families or groups.

Great place for a holiday with or without kids. The place is so clean and the staff are helpful. Their facilities are optimal.

Excellent privately owned apartments, Great for family’s and couples, four pools, one reserved for adults only.

Lovely short stay. Studio is big and has everything you need. Shops and restaurants close by. Near the beach.

Lovely apartment hotel with both heated indoor pool and not heated outdoor pools, which was a bit too cold this time of the year but I can guess it is divine in a month or 2
