Turiscampo Camping & Bungalow Park

The best campground on the South Algarve! Although it was almost fully booked in March, it didn’t feel crowded. It was very calm, the sanitary buildings are new and spotless. Just perfect. Staff was very nice and helpful. Can only recommend. I would advise to book in advance.

Extremely clean and in sum very nice campsite (probably best in Portugal). Needs to be reserved in front, even in afterseason.
The pool and hot jacuzzi where really nice. Also our sun had fun on the pool area. Had three nice nights here.
Stuff was always helpful but found them a little arrogant.

Definitely the best caravan park I have ever stayed at.
The local pueblo (Luz) is super (cafés, supermarkets, restaurants, beach, surfing etc), but is a bit of a hilly 25min walk. Car, bike access is probably necessary. Free car parking in Luz.
We visited Lagos and Sagres from the site by car. Bus stop outside the campsite but we were told the buses were not too regular with a 2 hour gap in the afternoon.

It's a really good place to caravan. The food in the restaurant is decent enough and well priced. The pool areas get very crowded, however, and are too small for a site of this size. The entertainment is okayish and consists of a 45 minute skit (usually girls dancing) and also gets extremely crowded. The thing that makes this campsite special though, are the staff who can't do enough to help and are always smiling.

Stayed in amado premium rental, lovely site, very clean and well organised, pools are a good variety, outdoor for swimming with lovely warmer areas to relax, lots of sunbeds and shade when needed. Amado village has own pool and jacuzzi shared with 12 other villas, always room for all. Outdoor gym and washing facilties, shower blocks and toilets are immaculate, reception and grocery store staff, really friendly and helpful 🙂

Best camping holiday we ever had. Will be coming back! Very well thought out site, great pools, very friendly staff and clean mobile home. If I was camping there in a van, I would have preferred grass instead of pebbles, but otherwise 100% recommend!

Meanwhile the 7th time on site and for sure not the last. Amazing location, excelent food in their buffet restaurant, every staff friendly and helpful, clean, ...

If I had to give any negative comment it would be it isn’t the cheapest but actually it’s worth the cost. From a lovely helpful lady at reception who we dealt with (no judgement to the other reception staff but by chance on entrance and exit it was the same lady we spoke to. To the feel of luxury in the sanitary blocks (which were also the cleanest sanitary blocks I’ve ever been in - due to being cleaned well and regularly) this is probably the best site of visited which in the height of season when everywhere is busy isn’t an easy feat. I would highly recommend this place. The fact that I’m doing a review which I rarely do is also a testament to this. As we were in a Motorhome I can’t judge the rooms.

Amazing campsite, probably the best I've ever seen. Everything is brand new and clean. They have cleaners on duty in peak hours. 3 playgrounds, 3 pools suitable for small kids. Big pitches with small rocks and big trees to keep some shade. Also, laundry and even ironing, fitness, spa, well-stocked shop, and restaurant. We had an awesome time here with our 3 year-old.

The go-to camping spot near Lisbon. The wide camping area, clean facilities, and multiple swimming pools with bars and animations lives up to all expectations.

What makes Turiscampo special is their unwavering dedication to providing an extraordinary camping experience. The friendly staff, attention to detail, and impeccable cleanliness create a fantastic atmosphere.

I must mention that Turiscampo perfectly captures the essence of Lisbon. Surrounded by stunning landscapes and close to cultural treasures, it offers an ideal base for exploring the whereabouts.

While my experience was exceptional, I have one suggestion for improvement: enhancing Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the camping area would greatly benefit guests.

The best staff we have ever encountered whilst camping and motorhoming.

This is a fantastic campground to explore the Algarve. Impeccably clean facilities, and great pools. We were in a tent, and the ground was very hard to peg, but they sell pegs in the store there (€10 for 10x) that work best with their hard ground, and also leant us a hammer from reception. They are working to plant more trees as there is little shade, but enough to get by. Thanks for having us! 😊

An incredible place to stay with the family. 100% service! Anything else off site is a bit far, but you can easily ask for Uber or Glovo

Camped in a CV, lots of space on the pitch, Electric and water too. Semi flat but I suggest bring levelling ramps as all pitches have a slight incline. resturant was fab, but a bit samey after a while. Swim pool area was lush, the kids pool looked ok too. reception was clean and easy to access. staff where awesome in the entire place. shop had all you needed for a camping trip. beach was about a 30 min walk away. They do acceot if they have soace walk ons. we went in may so a bit quieter.

We had a fantastic 7 days on this campsite, everything and I mean everything is kept spotlessly clean, the food in both the restaurant and the poolside snack bar was fantastic with good value prices too. One thing I will say is the pitches can be a bit on the small side we had a 70m square pitch and it was just the right size for our Micro Camper and two tents. We paid €385 for 7 nights with electric connection. Lots of showers and toilets all hot water is free. And the pool area is great. We will be back !!

Very nice, clean, quite small camping. New, well organized mobile homes. Indoor swimming pool could be bigger as even in the end of June was a little crowded while water in outdoor was really cold :)

Camping is on the hill with nice view behind. I really recommend as a base for exploring spectacular Algarve coast.

This was our fourth visit at the Algarve Yelloh Village and we will definitely come back. Facilities are very clean and well maintained. Swimming pools are great but as always people leave their towels on the sunbeds for hours whilst (I assume) eating and therefore often you're ended up with one free sunbed, which is annoying more than anything. Shop is well stacked but a bit overpriced so if you can travel to shop in Lagos or Luz do that as there's always fresh bread, fruits and vegetables and it's cheaper. There's free WiFi but absolutely rubbish signal. Although you have to wear the campsite "bracelet" they are not checked so my fear is that anyone can come in by foot without being checked. But I absolutely recommend this place!

Best campsite in Portugal.
Affiliated to Yelloh Village which has 5 star campsites.
Restaurant, entertainment, shower blocks are all excellent.
Pitches and cabins are a good size and are great value.
Really recommend this campsite if you are planning to visit the Algarve.
