We unexpectedly got to this amazing place, we had time for the lunch menu, the food is very tasty, it was prepared quickly. The service is also nice

Called in for a full English breakfast recently, a favourite place since visiting last year. Sat on the side terrace overlooking the sea. A good feed, a great place to eat and use as a stop off when walking the coast, we have previously walked from Lagos and back.

We stayed in Luz for 5 days. We went to the Bull twice for a breakfast and 4-5 times for drinks in the evening. We sat away from the outdoor seating down on the side overlooking water. It's a little tight but worth it. The Bull is a very typical English pub albeit in Portugal. Lots of Brit expats in Luz. This bar caters to that crowd. Large outdoor TV to watch F1 and European football, which we did.

Had lunch here. Great place with good food and drink, friendly people and great prices. Had the lunch menu octopus and pulled pork sandwich. Happy with everything..!!

The Bull is a very nice English pub and good place to watch football and the Grand Prix on a large outdoor screen. Owner Carlos is really friendly and welcoming and the food and service is good. The deck has an awesome sea view.

Great place for a beer or two. At the small terasse you can enjoy the sunset on the ocean. Or you enjoy the great music enviroment with Adam on Wednesday.

Great place to watch a match, great staff, and decently priced for the area. One of the few bars that opens late in Luz and also has a great sun terrace with a fantastic view.

Prime location to watch the sunset. Very attentive staff, full range of drinks. Lot's of friendly ex-pats to chat too. Dog friendly.

10/10 recommend. I loved meeting so many new friends. Its a great vibe at night, plus they always have all the soccer matches on the TV's.

Love this bar and bring me back to the old days where you could smell the smoke and alcohol in the walls.

English bar run by Portuguese. Its like an English tavern rather than a union jack flying pub. Lovely crowd, mix of locals, tourists and ex pats. Exceptional staff. Restaurant upstairs with trad englush food. Theres a terrace outside and on the roof also. Best cocktail menu in Luz. Highly recommend a visit.

Really pleasantly surprised by the splendid cocktails here! Thought it was a simple pub for a pint. Great fish and chips and shrimp too. 😋

Spent a week in Praia da luz we came here every day for drinks decided to eat here on our last night and we weren’t disappointed absolutely fantastic food and great service staff very friendly would highly recommend to anyone visiting here to spend a couple of days here can’t thank yous enough 💕

Nice pub style bar with good food and great views. Staff friendly and service very good. Some reviews suggest it’s overrun by British expats, but that wasn’t the case when we were there, and anyway, not everyone wants to eat Portuguese food, as good as it is, all the time.

Yes you want to go to local restaurants and cafes but if you find a place as well situated as this with all the creature comforts of home? Spectacular view, this pub restaurant is in the sunniest, warmest part of Europe at the bottom end of Portugal. They have good friendly staff, great food (nice chips with salt n vinegar, good steak pie) and Sky Sports. :)

Great steak, fabulous views from the restaurant at the 1st floor. The pub is located at the ground floor, also with terrace. Great sunsets.
