Luz Beach Cafe Bistro

Had a lovely experience at this beach front cafe. We came for breakfast and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating - very rare to be met with such warm smiles, especially in the morning! The food was great too! Highly recommended!

Loved it here, would highly recommend. Food was lush, which was a breath of fresh air really as we had a few terribly bad meals whilst driving through the Algarve. We ate here twice and loved everything we had, it all tasted fresh, service was excellent and we will 100% be returning on our next trip.

Really friendly staff when serving us. The food was relatively cheap, and was delicious. Would recommend for a quick bite to eat by the beach in Luz!

Really nice impromptu lunch at Luz beach cafe. Food and service very quick, food was very tasty with good sized portions. The Mexican nachos was great not to spicy but very filing. The sweat and sour wrap could have had a bit more chicken but that was our only fault. View over beach was great and a nice spot to watch the world go by.

We ate here twice for breakfast because our kids loved the pancakes. We also both loved our breakfasts too. The avocado, toast and eggs was delicious and very filling for starting the busy day at the beach. The menu item has it as "poached" eggs, but they pleasantly accommodated my request to have them scrambled. Definitely a nice spot with great service

Was absolutely blown away with the spectacular view that sits beside the Luz Beach Cafe & Bar…Service is precise and exceptional.. i would recommend getting the Liter of Red Sangria which is loaded with fresh fruit. And the Beach Club Sandwich.

Such a fabulous setting right on the beach. Lots of people watching, even in winter, when the sun is still shining. Beach looks fabulous. Coffee is great here and cocktails are available. Food is of good standard. Staff are chatty. Lovely place to while an hour away.

Forget the rest. And try this place. You won’t be disappointed you see some people look at the menu and walk on. Big mistake. Been coming here for years. Don’t know the owner but if I could give it 6 stars just for consistency I would. The standard never falters. Huge choice for breakfast. My girls love the mango smoothies. Lunch in our opinion is better than the higher priced neighbouring restaurants Should of wrote this review sooner as as soon as we get here. It’s our first port of call. Well done guys and keep up the good work. Love it

Stopped in here after running from Lagos to Luz, after we got caught in a thunderstorm. We were dripping wet and so cold, and the waiter gave us some blankets and sorted us out with the awesome food you see in the pic below. First class friendliness, and food to match!! The Buddha bowl was 👌👌👌 thanks guys, defo recommend!!

Just have a lovey english breakfast served until midday. Service was friendly and very quick. We definitely return and the view and setting is just beautiful.

Great beach side restaurant. We have breakfast before heading home to the UK and the pancakes were great. Lovely setting overlooking the beach and service very good.

Don't be fooled by some of the sour looks on the servers faces, they're very nice and friendly; there's a reason it's always busy. The pancakes were fantastic and the views were sublime. They have a massive menu with anything you could want.

Favourite place in Luz just by the sea. Polite, friendly and fast service and great food. Highly recommended

Beach front experience for breakfast. Loved it. Full breakfast to sandwiches and cocktails/beer too. I always chose a Caipirinha. Wonderful in the beginning heat of the day just off the beach on the boardwalk.

Amazing find for lunch.... ate there 4 days out of 7 in Praia da Luz...... clean,well cooked menu.... amazing quiche! Friendly staff and to top it off gorgeous beach views..
