La Carbonara - Garajau

Really nice place to eat. Fantastic tasty food and at a good price. Had the chicken lasagne and pepperoni pizza. Before we ordered, we were given an orange liquor with nibbles. Liquor was delicious. Had to cokes and a coffee to finish and cost only €32.40. They had the TV on, France vs Uruguay and volume was mutted but that was fine by me.

To begin with, we were served with two traditional welcome shots. When we asked what is it because it was so delicious we received another one "for good sleep". We tried their pizza and it was great but size M was way too big for two people. Overall, we very recommend this place!

If there are such thing as Madeira Pizza, this is it. It is not the traditional and authentic Italian Pizza, we go there for the Madeira style Pizza, the one people from Madeira ate. You have chicken pizza, pineapple and cocktail sauce, you have a significant amounts of cheese, one slice will probably fill you up but you'll want more :)

Very good place, large portions so better to take S-size, good pizza and ravioli. Poncha and some snacks as welcome gift, poncha itself was the best I had in Madeira. Definitely recommended.

The ingredients were really rich in the pizza. The dough was a bit tick. But all in all, it was very nice!! Deserved 5 Stars

If you like pizza then this is the best place to visit. Put all your history of pizza in the past you will not be disappointed. A small pizza is nearly good for two the medium if you are brave enough and the large if you are tough enough. All reasonable prices. Most enjoyable.

We went there only for two drinks of ponch, but we drank more than two and went home with a very tasty pizza and a bottle of poncho!! Wery good poncho and tasty pizza !! :)
