Praya Restaurante

Good food, nice interiors, great location, good service. We went to Praya for a light lunch after swimming at the beach nearby. Everything was delicious with the Queijo Morro (local cheese) being the highlight. The menu looked very promising. Good wine list as well. The interiors are nicely decorated which differentiate the place a lot from the standard tavern aesthetics that you usually find in the region. Service was excellent.

Best place in Faial! Try local tuna steak and desert, it's amazing taste! Service it's top! Location is beautiful... you will enjoy your dinner on the beach 💯🥂😋

Very nice place with a beautiful view. We ordered some starters and some wine. The food was very good, the price more than fair and the service very nice

Great place with fantastic food and hospitable staff. Definitely the best restaurant I visited during my stay on the Azores. Their bread and homemade butter is a must taste and thet serve great seafood. The location and view is great too, you will be overlooking Pico mountain. You won't be disappointed.

Good quality ingredients prepared and cooked with skill. We had cold fragrant melon soup bursting with freshness, tender prawns expertly cooked until slightly translucent in the middle, and punchy beef ribs in red wine sauce with fat melting off the bone.

The food was fantastic, the view and ambience was great.. But in my opinion the greatest asset was the staff. They are cordial engaging and passionate. If you are visiting the island of Faial do yourself a favor and dine here.

Nós adoramos o restaurante! Boa comida e muita simpatia por parte de quem nos atendeu. Uma arquitectura digna de ser apreciada, linda e com classe. Vista fabulosa para a praia do almoxarife e ilha do Pico.

Eccezionale ristorante sulla spiaggia di Almoxarife, si presenta con uno stile unico caratterizzato da un soffitto in legno intrecciato.

I ragazzi al servizio sono cortesi, forse giovani ma comunque cercano di metterti a tuo agio e fanno sì che piccole disattenzioni nel recapitare dei piatti gli si perdonino vista la grande disponibilità.
La qualità del cibo è un altro punto estremamente a favore del ristorante, è tutto dal sapore buono e deciso, e i vini di accompagnamento direttamente dall'isola erano economici e gradevoli anch'essi.

Abbiamo speso circa 90 euro in due per due piatti principali, un misto di quasi tutti gli antipasti a menù, dolce e vino.
Più che onesto.

Fate solo attenzione ad avere un mezzo di trasporto quando arrivate la sera, perché alle 21:30 che abbiamo finito di cenare già non c'era più alcun taxi che rispondesse al telefono e abbiamo dovuto farci una scarpinata lungo il monte a piedi per tornare indietro.

Excelente experiência! Atum Braseado mega delicioso! As entradas são muito completas, e a seleção de manteigas caseiras foi de outro mundo! O fim de tarde com vista para o Pico, acompanhado de esta fantástica refeição poderia até levar 10 estrelas!
