Feb 7 2024: AMAZING: fresh great food with great staff. I had the lunch special with fresh fish, salad, and potatoes. Delicious. So good. Had chick pea soup of the day. Mmmmm. Good food worth any wait time which was minimal. Food shops cannot control tourist rushes but lots of locals there. Going to all 9 Azores islands and this cafe is high on my list to return over the next few days. Great dessert selection. Exemplary efficient staff. Helpful. Well run. Busy. Over the road from the main church. A place worth more than 5 star limit. Mmmm

Great location. Always open during weekend and holidays. The service is prompt and the baked good fresh. Their croissant and palmier’s actually tasted authentic French.
I forgot my umbrella and came the next day to get it. They actually had it and gave it to me. It’s nice to see honesty still exists in the world.

Nice cafe with a good assortment of snacks and pastries. No credit cards, which doesn't matter as prices are very reasonable. Open on Sunday a bonus as so may places are closed.

Good breakfast place. Suitable for groups. They prepare whatever you like, also breakfast box for take away.

Lovely cafe - I ordered a cheeseburger instead of a cheese sandwich by mistake, and the friendly gentleman sorted it out for me very quickly.

Good food, good price

A must visit cafe/Patisserie in Madalena, Pico very close to the harbour. Great food.
Loves the meat pasty and coffee. They also have a good selection of cakes. Do make sure you do not go late in the afternoon/evening as they are popular and sell out.

Probably not the best food in town but they have a good bang for bucks ratio. I enjoyed my spaghetti.
