Pleanty to offer, from amazing food and its traditions, to a nice relaxing walks on the parks and old streets or by the river with traditional shops and a termal area/baths to heal and give you energy. A very nice alternative and atmosphere to big cities and a tadte of true Portugal and its people.

Beautiful roman Bridge.
There is a walk by the river Tamega that goes below the bridge and take great pictures.

Roman bridge still permitting to cross the river walking, functional, and so elegant in the city s landscape. It was open to circulation a few decades ago. Astonishing monument close to aquae fluviae one must visit also.

Amazing roman bridge on the most beautiful part of Chaves. There are lots of green areas on both sides of the river here and plenty of spaces to relax, practice sports or let children play.

Village in Portugal

Vidago is a village and a former-civil parish in the municipality of Chaves, in the Portuguese district of Vila Real. Until its merger into the parish of Vidago, Arcossó, Selhariz e Vilarinho das Paranheiras, the civil parish administered an area of 6.40 square kilometres and included a population of 1186 inhabitants. source
