If you come to Chave you must try! This restaurant is very unique place and the food is so awesome. We always order the Pernil ( Pork leg in the oven) and cod fish, they were so yummy. The drink is very good specially the green house wine. About dessert I recommend the home made pudding and cheese cake. This restaurant has the good price. We paid only 35,6€ for 2 main causes , wine, 2 desserts and 2 cups of coffee.

The atmosphere sitting outside in summer, paired the very attentive service, was cosy. I felt very welcome.

Strongly recommend to reserve, even on a regular weekday in summer.

Definitely I recommend this restaurant, very tasty food, very nice and friendly staff and normal prices. Just you better book it in advance

A surprising find as I wandered past with the dog. (Not a dog friendly restaurant). We stopped for a drink, checked the menu and realised that the clientele were exclusively Portuguese. So we came back for a meal and it was delicious.
I am looking forward to our next visit!

Great food with local flavors.

Very good place for a bite in Chaves. Good food, nice but rushing staff, don't expect conversation with them, the place is very busy (we were there in September). Deserts are good.

A traditional Portuguese restaurante, loyal to the region of Trás-os-Montes. The food as little or no innovation but if what you are looking for is to have good traditional Portuguese food then this is the spot. Service is good in general but with a little bit of room to improve - not all the waiters are up to the same standards.
