Located over the bridge in Silves town it is a prominent landmark. I have been going here for over 20yrs and haven't been disappointed. My guests have also enjoyed it. The menu caters for meat, fish and vegetarian lovers. It is a Portuguese restaurant and portions are generous. It is good value and the service is efficient and friendly. There is adequate parking but it often requires some manoeuvring to get a space. Dining is downstairs and quite atmospheric, with an area for smokers post meal where coffee can be taken. There are also rooms to let.

This is by far the best restaurant in Silves. Very nice staff, amazing service and wonderful and delicious food. We've been here for lunch but we've been very well welcomed by the staff and we've feeled very well. Food-price balance is amazing. Definitely would come back and we'll highly recomend this place for evryone visiting Silves. The place have a very nice thematic and the people leave us a very nice impression like we've been thw most important people in the restaurant. Highly recomended and definitely we'll come back every time we'll get the chance. 6 stars.

Take the mixed meat plate for two if you are VERY hungry as it’s enough for four people. Was delicious and paired with a great douro wine. Recommended for a high quality local experience. (I dislike that they don’t mention the 5€ charge for the small plate they give as you sit down)

we book a room at this place, at the arrival it was Catarina that welcoming us, she was so friendly, that we decided to have dinner at their traditional Portuguese restaurant.
the staff was very helpful and friendly the food was amazing and everyone was happy with the choice. l would recommend this place to everyone that visit Silves for a lovely dinner with friends or family.

Had a lovely local dish here Saltimbuco which is pork loin ham, cheese all cooked together with a mushroom sauce & cooked banana. Also the Lamb chops were so tasty and tender the best we have had for a while, comes with salad & chips. The young waiters are so friendly and speak very good English. Just one thing to mention they put a lovely cheese and ham, olives & bread board down for you. You do have to pay for this which is €8 so if you don't want to pay, just say no thank you. Lovely like cellar Aircon dinning room.

Caterina was absolutely amazing and made us feel so welcome. They also prepared special vegan breakfasts for us when we let them know we were vegan and they had soy milk/yoghurt and non dairy options which was so thoughtful. Beautiful room with a castle view 🤩 will be going back!

Accommodation and food is very nice. We stayed for one evening in early April and were very impressed with the welcome, the friendliness and the quality. Excellent value for money. Breakfast was lovely as well.

Lovely rooms with marmor all around. Very clean with a superb view. The staff was exceptionally friendly and the breakfast room has a great atmosphere. A common rooftop terrace serves as a lovely place to relax before heading into town. The owners English is quite limited but well enough for basic communication.

Incredible food, Great service and very traditional feel

Very affordable for its location with view of the castle 🏰 , friendly staff, very clean, decent food, with orange 🍊 and lime farm in front and most of all with indoor parking which i need most because i have a lot of filming equipments on my van.

Absolutely Fantastic food ,
The mixed plate dish is 40€.
Sounds expensive, but 10 people could share it ,and still not finish the plate .
Staff are friendly and can speak English.

I like this place a lot, it's actually my favourite restaurant in Silves. Cozy and fresh environment although it's in a cave (underground) area. Very sympathetic staff and great quality food. Prices are reasonable.

The owner was very nice all the time. She was so helpful and I would not know how to thank her for the services and tips of where to go. There is a free parking area inside so do not worry if you see the street crowded with cars. The restaurant onsite is really good. I loved the food and the dessert. The breakfast is very tasty as well. There is a balcony on the 3rd floor with a great view and we had a great view from our room too. At night you can hear a little the sound from the bars nearby but nothing that can stop you from a good night of sleep. The only negative part was that we asked for a double bed just on the reservation and the hotel did confirm that we would have it but when we got there it was two single beds. It was not a big problem. My experience was still great. There is a Lidl nearby, great restaurante and a small park. There is also a castle within a walk distance. We would definitely come back.

One of the best places for Portuguese food and atmosphere in the area. Preferably choose from the daily specials, first page of the menu with today's date on it. I'm sure the friendly staff will translate for you. Fresh grilled fish and typical Portuguese/Algarvean dishes.

Doesn't pretend to be what it isn't but if you're looking to have a high quality meal and feeling at home, look no further. Very attentive staff always super friendly. Relaxed and nice decor

My wife and I spent one night in this magic family-run hotel in Silves, Algarve. What an experience! The family members are so friendly and they make you feel at home, it's really a home from home as far as comfort and welcome are concerned. The view from the room will be remembered for a long time. Many thanks to Caterina who was so friendly and helpful in explaining lots of things . Highly recommended.
