Best to go early as it is quite a popular spot. Great barbecue picnic spot next to the river with jungle gyms and walking trails. Sometimes has events, music etc

Lovely bbq spot to take some extra time with your family. The picknick tables are perfect, with a tree for some extra shadow. There are toilets available, which makes your stay even better.

Beautiful place for walking. Great amphitheatre for summer concerts.
Very clean facilities. Lovely for picnics & barbecue. Brick built barbecues provided.

Very nice spot for the whole family, toilets, tables and grill available.
There is also a guided nature walk with signs about the plants. Plenty of parking

Very nice park indeed. It is good for an all day outing as it has a very good barbecue area and shaded seating. Public rest rooms are clean but not wheelchair friendly. There is swimming in certain areas. I was surprised to see a shaded area in arena style with stepped seating, ideal for parties or bands perhaps. It also had a security guard. Overall a great place.

Great natural park. Smart young children's play area. Fitness stop points along the route. Lovely lake, best when tide is in. Lots rabbits and birds and bbq available. May be snack bar when in season
