Had to visit Dr Bakker with a bad ear infection, I walked in with no appointment and he was more than happy to see me and help. I was given a prescription and he offered to see me again if I still had pain, which I did and he was efficient, kind and professional. I also had to visit with my son who received the same level of care.
Please do not hesitate to go and see him if you have any medical issues whilst in Carvoeiro.

Courteous helpful friendly efficient
Clean organised consulting rooms and reception
Highly recommend if in need of medical advice.
All forms for claiming back fees given

As for pharmacy: I wish we had it in Cork €10 for antibiotics and nasal spray

Sehr netter Arzt, der sehr liebevoll mit unserem Kind umgegangen ist.
Spontaner Termin war möglich und die Dame am Empfang war ebenfalls mehr als freundlich!

Prima nederlandstalige huisarts! Alle tijd om mijn oren te cleanen en verder mijn doofheid te onderzoeken. Nam alle tijd en ter zake kundig. Voorbeeld voor de nederlandse huisartsen, die wellicht te veel onder druk van de zorgverzekeraars werken.

Begripvolle, goed luisterende en adequaat analyserend. Neemt de tijd en geeft prima advies. Ook snelle reactie op vragen per mail. Een huisarts die je ook in Nederland zal wensen. Top dus. Fijn om tijdens je overwintering zo nodig op terug te kunnen vallen. Dokter Ronald Bakker bedankt!!

Habe kurzfristige Hilfe benötigt und erhalten. Der Arzt ist freundlich, nimmt sich Zeit und spricht auch gut Deutsch. War sehr zufrieden.

Hoe fijn! Een Nederlandse dokter om de hoek van het centrumplein. Zonder afspraak te bezoeken voor 13uur. Te vinden via trap achter de taxistandplaats en de kiosk. Vriendelijke service. Eerste consult €60 cash. Apotheek dichtbij en goedkoop (18 euro voor antibiotica en oordruppels).
Aanbevolen dus.

Charged me 60 euros multiple times without checking me. Just listens to symptoms and then makes an assumption for 60 euros... allthough there is a sign saying "2nd consultation, 30 euros". Man only thinks of one thing and that is money.
