Craft BBS

If you want to taste some local crafted beer or gin, than Craft BBS is the place to be. There are several flavours of beer served in a nicely designed local glass. We also tried some of the delicious hamburgers.

On a warm day, eating a great burger and a glass of artisanal beer is pure joy. The place is very enjoyable, either indoors and outdoors. Food is very good, with the burgers being named after the seven dwarfs. The beer is truly great, a real must. Prices are right and not expensive. A highly recommend place.

A true little gem where you can try local craft beer and specialty gin drinks - perfect after a day of wondering the sites. Also serves coffee and burgers but didn’t have the chance to try them. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff - even to a non-Portuguese speaker such as myself.

Great place! The menu is hilarious and I had a hard time choosing between all of the delicious looking food, wide selection, and funny names. It had a great outside sitting area and service was relatively fast for how full they were. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I just wish i lived nearby so i could come back often!

Lovely burgers made with the most delicious meat and all come with the classic Portuguese hand cut triple fried chips.
Would strongly recommend booking in advance though as it’s particularly popular and there doesn’t seem to be anything like it around.
Expect some waiting to be involved in the service but you’re likely to have that anywhere in Alentejo, as tourism is so seasonal.

This would be an excellent burger joint with craft beer anywhere in the world. Nice choice if you're staying in Vila Viçosa and want to make a pause on regional food restaurants

If you want to try craft beers and wines and Gin's, then this is the best place. They also have the largest variety of hamburgers I have ever seen, and they are hot and delicious. The staff are extremely helpful. I will return.

Delicious burgers and craft beer (be sure to try the grape ale!) with a lovely outside seating area. The dessert mousses were great too and service was fast and friendly!Only downside was the website menu which isn't very easy to navigate and there is a lot of information about many burgers so expect to read up for 10mins before you know what you'll be having.

Great service, food, and atmosphere. Friendly service that can speak fluent English, delicious food, and a friendly vibe in the restaurant.
