I had to buy salt and stumbled upon this tiny family-owned market. The prices were great, even olive oil was cheap! I will continue to go because of the great prices, convenient location right in the city center and very friendly old man working there!

Unbedingt dort einkaufen! Der Laden hat so ziemlich alles. Die Preisschilder sind liebevoll mit der Hand geschrieben.
Der Besitzer ist ein toller Portugiese. Sehr nett, hilfsbereit und strahlt eine Ruhe vor dem Herrn aus.
Die Preise sind mehr als fair und sehr günstig. (1.5 Liter Wasser für 30 Cent)
Tolle Auswahl an Weinen und Spezialitäten.
Wir Touristen müssen die Locals unterstützen. Minipreco und die großen Ketten haben schon genug Geld.
Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Einkauf im Mercado.

Nice little grocery shop with some basics. We shopped here for our 5 day stay. Doesn’t have fresh milk and the vegetables were only ok.
