Lovely place - simple honest food

Super friendly service, great food! Traditional Portuguese cuisine that is a pleasure to eat!

The owner was incredibly friendly, and made us feel so at home! We had delicious fresh fish that was drizzled with a simple and delicious combination of garlic cilantro oil, and a side of boiled potatoes and carrots in the same delightful sauce. :) We loved it, one of our favorite meals in Portugal! Also he had two fluffy wonderful dogs that he introduced us to before we left.

Off Vila Nova de Milfontes crowded places this is an hidden gem: old school boiled rice, home made potato chips and perfect cut for meat. Lunch menu makes it just perfect!!

Very nice restaurant and very nice owners. They're always the friendliest people around there. Highly recommend visiting.

A family restaurant where to have a good meal

We were cycling into a strong wind and it had been raining hard. We stopped here to refuel and warm up. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the plato del dia was a choice of pork or duck with a carafe of wine, salad and bread. The food was simple, but beautifully cooked. Our wine was topped up, we then chose a chocolate mousse and a rice pudding for our desserts. Both home made and delicious. Set us up to continue cycling for a couple more hours.

Ein Typisches Portugiesisches Restaurant. Eine Karte gibt es nicht.. man bespricht mit dem Koch was man gerne essen möchte und dieser bereitet dann ganz frisch das Gericht zu! Egal ob Fisch oder Fleisch die Portion kostet 12,50 Euro im November 2023. Die Rechnung wird auf der Tischdecke erstellt. Überwiegend wird das Restaurant von einheimischen Arbeitern um die Mittagszeit besucht. Es ist ratsam vor 12:00 Uhr mittags vor Ort zu sein. Dann ich die Wahrscheinlichkeit einen Tisch zu bekommen am höchsten.

Para quem aprecia o conceito de "Tasco", encontrámos na Petisqueira, o cenário perfeito. Staff super simpático e a comida deliciosa!!! Servida com proporções muito generosas! Pedimos Febras grelhadas e bitoque. A salada foi muito bem confeccionada e a sobremesa , que é o tricolor é muito boa também.
O espaço não é propriamente o mais bem decorado mas é certamente tudo feito com muita atenção e simpatia.
Os preços são mais baratos do que os aplicados no resto da região.
Recomendamos e sem dúvida que voltaremos no futuro.
