Milfontes Surf School

I took some lessons at Milfontes Surf school last spring and wanted to leave some Feedback. The teachers and workers in the shop were very friendly and made effort to connect to all students. Very cool and nice people there. It was a great experience surfing and getting a lot of help and tips. Happy I chose this surf school.

Absolutely recommend this surf school, especially for kids and families, as well as for experienced surfer! Super vibe, great teacher and best wave seekers. Sara was the most wonderful teacher for our 8 year daughter and her friend. See you soon!

David is really nice and skilled guy. He teach my wife, our kids and myself very good and is very reliable. He also provided us with a lot of recommendations and tipps.

If you want to learn how to surf in small groups, with direct feedback at the beach and video / photo analysis afterwards David is your man. From standing up to actually surfing a green wave outside, he coaches you with a lot of fun, listens to your experience and always makes sure that you´re having a good time.

The most important thing I learned: the best surfer is the one having the most fun. And if you go to Milfontes Surf School that will be you.

Very glad we stumbled upon this surf school. Myself and two friends were looking for classes for absolute beginners. David was easy to reach and got us in the ocean in no time. He is a great and patient teacher with a nice sense of humour! We cannot wait to go back for more waves as soon as possible! 🤙

David is a great guy and great instructor. With his enthusiasm, he easily teaches you everything necessary to become a better surfer.

Because of the small groups there is a lot of attention for each persons development. David gives tips while you are catching waves, or uses video’s and photo’s of your surfing to show you how and where to improve.

Absolutely recommend taking a lesson with David. He also has great tips on what to do in and around Milfontes.

This surf school was the perfect choice. David is a great instructor and very friendly. Also if you looking for more individual approach, David focuses on small groups so you can be sure he gives you his full attention and tips. I definitely recommended and hope to surf with David again one day!😁🤙

Great first ever surf lesson for the family. David was friendly, fun and helped us make the most of our time. Simple straight forward instructions on a beautiful beach in lovely sunny weather. We would definitely have more lessons with him if we had been staying for longer. Thanks David.

Absolutely great surf school!
Went on a 2-lessons / 1 day surf course and it was awesome. David is one of those sympathic guys you instantly want to hang out with. His knowledge in surfing and his way of teaching are great. We only have been a group of 2 students and him as a teacher. I always felt safe and secure while also being trained.
Those two lessons made so much fun, that i spontaneously added a third one the next day. I'll surf again with Milfontes Surf School as soon as i'm back in Portugal!

Our kids spend three lovely mornings riding the waves with David on one of the most beautiful beaches we have ever been in Europe. David is a good teacher, speaks perfect English and showed us his way of enjoying life and being one with the sea. He is easy to get in touch with and he knows a lot about the area, good restaurants and the best Ice cream at Mabi in Vila Nova de Milfontes. We will be back!

Perfect beginners- guide for wave-lovers. We took a course as a Family and he really knew how to encourage and support each and every of us for using the personal potential. He explained and showed us super useful things and made sure that the most important thing will be: FUN.
Also the Beach to learn is very friendly and familiar, amazing view!
