Chinese Restaurant Royal Garden

Walked in to order a takeaway, staff were all friendly and service was quick. All of the food was extremely fresh and cooked to order, everything was great apart from the chips as they went soggy in the plastic container. Would definitely go back and miss the chips.

Really lovely and affordable restaurant. We had the roasted duck and pineapple, crispy shredded beef, egg fried rice and Singapore noodles. Lovely food and great portions. The service in particular was excellent, your kindness was much appreciated. Thank you!

I don’t understand some comments about “this is not typical Chinese food” but as a guest from Taiwan I think I know what is “Chinese Food”. The food here is definitely typical Chinese food. Of course you will not expect the “luxury & fancy” Chinese food here but in my opinion they offer the kind of Chinese food which I eat in my home daily. And I am happy I find this good restaurant in town(I visited here everyday during my stay). The staff here are really helpful to lightly customize the food for my son (he has allergies and picky for food). Anyway, I truly recommend this place for you.

Wonderful food. We have ordered take away 4 times now and have loved it each time.
The crispy duck is not to be missed. It's the best I have had in 2 decades. I've had Peking duck in Peking and this one is fantastic.
Don't miss the fried prawn appetizer.
All the fried rice dishes are great. The Singapore fried rice has yellow curry and is great.

Arrived just after 7pm as a party of 6 and we were reluctant to go in because it was empty. However, recent positive reviews along with the fact that we've visited here many times prior to the COVID situation, encouraged us to go in. We were not disappointed. Good choice, good food, good service and good prices. Would recommend and would visit again. The barbecue ribs were lovely. The Hot and Sour soup equally good.

It was exactly what we expected and hoped for. Just like a Cantonese-Chinese restaurant back home. The food was delicious, the staff were charming, they gave us a glass of port at the end. We love Royal Garden ❤

We have been there twice since coming to Luz for our holiday. Great food. Service is a little slow, more at getting the bill. Prices are very good. You will enjoy this restaurant.
