Restaurante Ponta da Ilha

Wonderful restaurant hidden away in vineyard just behind the coast. Very professional service, excellent food, fair prices. Well worth a drive to the end of the island to find this place. A great favourite with locals and foreigners who moved to the island.

A lovely younger couple who have started and run their own restaurant. Off the beaten path and excellent outdoor and indoor seating with views of the ocean. Great wine selection and flawless English. We will definitely come back again on our next Azores adventure.

Owner Fabio was very friendly, he greeted us outside the restaurant (they open at 12pm), the food was so greet and not expensive at all, strongly recommended to have your lunch or dinner here, beautiful views.

The food is so fresh and tasty. I had the sword fish and my partner had the steak with mushrooms. Both were cooked to perfection. I had an amazing gin and tonic.

The staff is very nice and friendly, great service. The prices are good and the food great, the ingredients look fresh. We had limpets octopus, which was fantastic, and the caramelized meat which was also fantastic. Than you for the gret experience.

Proprietor Fabio is a young man who is joyously fulfilling his vision. He moved from the mainland to Pico to foster this wonderful restaurant on the southeast tip of Pico island. The grilled octopus was worth the drive alone!

Friendly staff, good service, very good selection of fish, dishes 10-50 eur. We took bottle of wine 10 eur, fish dishes 4*13 eur, shrimps for all 15 eur, bill was 80 eur for 4 persons

Great chef, cooking up some delectable delights. I had the octopus and my wife had tuna. Both were fresh and delightful. If you want a great experience with not only the food and wine, but also the staff, make sure to dine here at least once while on Pico.

Had a fantastic dinner here with my family. I had the octopus and my wife had the picanaha. Very good service and perfect food. 🥰

Best restaurant on the island in my opinion. We went twice and the food was always extremely delicious. We had octopus, caramelized steak and a mixed salat. The salat was with grapes, kiwi and carrots, a very nice combination.

Very friendly server who went out of her way to speak her best English and to make very good recommendations. The fried garlic shrimp was delicious and our parrot fish was tender, flakey and moist. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and the cheese/bread platter was incredible. The view was beautiful- can see right into the vineyard! Very happy with our experience.

During our two weeks in Azores this was our favourite meal.
