Dubon Chocolate Bar

What a wonderful way to spend some time in Porto. The thick hot chocolate drink that you can sip or taste with a spoon is a must. The owner loves to strike up a conversation and offer recommendations on what she’s most passionate about. I would have included a picture but made my way through the drink before remembering to take one.

The design is clean and tasteful just like the wonderfully fine chocolates which give away a taste of high quality products at every bite. The atmosphere and staff are very welcoming and friendly. A great place for a short and tasty escape from the hubbub of the city.

A lovely little chocolate shop that should be a must if you’re visiting Porto. We ordered a hot chocolate which was made to order. Sometimes in winter it is only served on weekends, but after saying we came specifically for the hot chocolate the lovely owner made them for us by hand. One of the best hot chocolates you will have!

The cafe owner was so lovely and made us the most delicious hot chocolates. Cafe atmosphere was cosy, and the chocolates were incredible. 10/10 would recommend

Unexpectedly exceptional! The chocolates are truly gourmet and gastronomical, with natural flavors shining through without too much sweetness.

Highly recommend a large tasting plate to enjoy slowly…and be prepared to order more to go.

Bonus: the owner and staff were wonderfully helpful and kind.

For chocolate aficionados, this is a must-go while in Porto.

Absolutely loved this place! Stumbled upon it during our last day in Porto, wish we had found it sooner! The owner was so sweet, pleasant to talk to and very informative about the chocolates, letting us taste many before buying! We bought some of the lemon/pistachio, chocolate covered hazelnut, dark chocolate/raspberry bar, port/pink salt bar. I am going home with a lot of chocolate! Hope to stop again soon in the future. Very nice craft chocolate store. Try "canela" (cinnamon) candy, it's really good. Good place to buy a chocolate gift.

We are so glad we came to DUBON to experience our first Porto & chocolate pairing tasting. The service was personalized and amazing. We got to know the friendly workers and even made friends with some of the locals! I recommend this place over any of the more mainstream Porto tastings by the water - a fraction of the cost and so much better.

Had such a lovely time doing the port and chocolate pairing tasting here. The owner Keren was so welcoming and knowledgeable about the port and the delicious chocolate. We came away with a new found love for port and a good few bags of delicious chocolate! The cocktails were also some of the best I’ve had and good value. Highly recommend

The Port and Chocolate tasting experience was exceptional in this delightful little establishment. Well worth seeking out, it is a short walk from the Most Beautiful Bookshop in the World. The owner was really helpful, spoke excellent English and took her time to explain the different Ports and complimentary home made chocolates. 10 out of 10 experience.

What a beautiful place to pass an hour or so on a rainy afternoon. We enjoyed a port and chocolate tasting and the pairings were perfect! The atmosphere is relaxed, the information about the port was just the right amount. Loved it!

Had a wonderful port and chocolate tasting here. Really enjoyed being able to try ports from two different producers. The chocolate was excellent quality, you can watch them making it in the shop and they have a huge variety of flavors.

Sweet mother of god!! Not only an incredible way to be introduced to port, but with matching chocolates and incredible service! Easily one of our best experiences in Porto. We will be back!

For reference: we stopped in randomly as a couple and chose one classic and one premium port tasting coupled with 6 chocolate pairings. Our wonderful host chose incredible chocolates consisting of cinnamon, salted caramel, and an almond coconut(?) treat . Needless to say we left with more chocolate and will be back later in the week!

While visiting Porto, we stumbled upon Dubon Chocolate and so glad we did! Friendly, informative, and amazing staff! We decided to do the port wine and chocolate pairing tasting. The best port we had throughout our stay. I can’t say enough about the beautifully crafted chocolate — it’s beyond delicious! I wish they could deliver to the states!

Amazing chocolate shop. Best coffee we had in Porto. The chocolate was to die for. Had a port, lemon and house wine cocktail which was most refreshing.

The chocolates are amazing, we tried 6 as a chocolate tasting. They were all delicious, so we immediately bought a box of eight to take home with us. Definitely worth a visit, we will visit again, next time we are in Porto

So glad we stopped by on our trip to Porto! They were super helpful in explaining all the flavors and telling us the most popular ones. Definitely get the sesame chocolate — the helpful employee pointed it out, and we wouldn’t have gotten it otherwise. It’s our favorite! Going to try to come back before we leave to try the hot chocolate too!
