I ordered a tuna steak and it was very delicious. The sizes are too big for me personally but you get a very good value for the price. The service was very good. Would totally recommend.

Our favourite restaurant in Porto. Prices are affordable and food is great. They served crispy garlic bread as a starter and we ordered the codfish cake and chorizo as an appetisers. For mains, We ordered their famous pork knuckle dish. Meat was tender and juicy and portion was great for 2 girls. Service was also good but the restaurant can get very busy and full quickly after opening hours. We did not managed to try their desert but we will definitely be back if we are in Porto again

Great experience, the menu is full of local specialties. We had the pork knee, which was amazing. Relaxed and friendly staff. Come early or reserve, within one hour the restaurant was packed…

Stumbled across this place by accident, we were walking by it at exactly 19 o'clock and there was already a line in front. We got the last table (I would advise everyone to come even earlier than 19 o'clock or to reserve a table)

We all had the pork cutlet and it was amazing. Unfortunately there were no vegetarian options, but this place is famous for the pork. We were sitting next to the door which was quite annoying since people who didn't have a table or didn't reserve one kept the door open constantly. Moreover over the taking of the orders took some time but the personality and the friendliness of the waiter more than made up for it. Besides the prices were amazing!

Everything about this restaurant was so, so good! The porco asado and the cutlets were both superior. Excellent house wine at e3 for .5l was fresh and tasty. I wish we had saved room for dessert, but the portions were huge! A really good reason to come back. Great value and delicious food in Porto.

Food was amazing! Hotel clerk recommended eating here and we are glad we took his suggestion. I had the roasted pork loin with a spinach puree and roasted potatoes. Just amazing. My husband chose the grilled pork knee and he ate it and reports that it tasted amazing. We both have clean plates. The service was top tier too and very easy on our wallet too!

The Pernil Assado accompanied by spinach puree and potatoes was incredible. It reminded me of Christmas in my childhood. The salmon was also wonderful and tasty.

One of the best places for comfortable food in the coldest season in Porto.

This resto was recommended by the hotel during our visit to Porto. The dishes that we ordered were delicious that we were able to finish it. We had to order their own version of French toast (Rabanada), it was superb. All the staff are very welcoming and the prices are reasonable. They won’t rip you off. The vibe is different, it is like you are home.

This is a must place to eat when in Porto. Note they are open until 3PM for lunch then re-open from 7PM - 10PM. If the restaurant is always open, then it means it mostly caters to tourists.

For some reason I cannot add the filetes de pescada, but it was as good as the duorada grelhada. Very nice food, nice atmosphere, good service.

The pork knee is as good as advertised. With a salad and the pork portion, it's more than enough for two. Add a carafe of house wine (Blanca or rose) and it's a wonderful meal for less than €30.

Nice little joint in Porto. Traditional food and very affordable. Service was nice and friendly.
We had the pernil/porc knee. It was really good. Rissol and bolinhos also were really good.
Last dish was French toast Antunes way accompanied by a cinnamon orange sirup.

Overall very much recommended.

Very nice restaurant, in a location not far from downtown in Porto. The food was excellent and the service very good. The restaurant was full but the service was still fast and precise. The location is a bit too narrow but still it is worth. Excellent quality price ratio.

One of the most typical restaurants in Porto. The porks roasted knee (pernil assado em forno a lenha) is unbelievable, also recommend the french fried toast (rabanada) for dessert. The prices are the best part: around 10-15€ per person

From the moment we walked in the door we were treated like we’d been coming there for years. The food, service, portion size, pricing and friendliness was unbeatable at any other restaurant we visited.

Loved this place. When we told our taxi driver at the airport that we wanted to go here, he said a few things about the place. We didn't understand but we know it was going to be good because he was all smiles. The pork knuckle was so good, as was the grilled fish. It's not the prettiest food but that's ok because the flavors are honest and true. The service is friendly.

Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. We had swordfish and grilled sea bass - very tasty. The pork knuckle looked amazing too and that seemed to be the house special. Two big mains, dessert (you have to try the French toast) and drinks all for 30 euro. Would definitely recommend!

Great restaurant to taste Portuguese traditional homemade food. The different dishes was delicious and the staff were kind and professional; they explained us everything we needed and recommend food and wine. Don’t hesitate to go there.
