Really nice place! Excellent management, the staff was perfect, they sat down and explained the various cockatils on the list, trying to understand the tastes and advising us in the best way!

The room with the bed and the money is that thing you don't expect, where you can take photos and laugh! Even the old safe is very representative!

The best service I ever had in Portugal! The servers are very friendly, they explain everything in the menu and have a great knowledge of the dishes and ingredients. The food is very different while still tasty

This bar was close to our apt and we opted to visit. It’s fairly busy but they have plenty of seats. I tried one of their cocktails and it was delicious. My friends had beer. It’s definitely a great bar option if you are staying nearby.

I had an amazing experience at Big Bad Bank bar in Porto last night! This place is definitely a must-visit if you're looking for a cool and unique spot to enjoy some cocktails and good music. The cocktail lineup is impressive, but I particularly loved the Porto Tonic made with white Porto wine - definitely give it a try!

The restaurant area is also worth mentioning, with long tables where people can sit together and enjoy some delicious food. Although I didn't get a chance to try the food myself, I heard great things about it.

The crowd was diverse and good looking, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere. One of the highlights of the place is the safe filled with fake money and the bed covered with fake money, perfect for Instagrammers looking for a cool photo op.

Finally, the music was fantastic - mainly funky Brazilian songs from the 70s remixed - adding to the overall cool vibe of the place. I highly recommend Big Bad Bank bar for anyone visiting Porto and looking for a unique and unforgettable night out.

Drinks were nice, but one note: don’t choose Perfect Heist cocktail (I believe that was the name), it was nothing specials/too sweet.

This is a cool and edgy bar with a moody atmosphere and great cocktail selection. It's a great spot for comfy seating, casual drinks and deep conversations. The space, I'm told, was converted from an old bank which is why there is a vault-like room filled with fake bank notes, as well as a bed contained in a room with with windows and more bank notes scattered from wall to wall. These are apparently great for taking unusual selfies and photos for your social media accounts, and popular with Instagrammers. I'll be back for the food as it looks incredible.

Big Bad Bank Bar will not disappoint. It’s a whole vibe!! If you’re looking for great drinks, an instagram-able moment, a conversational bartender or all 3, you’ll find them here! It’s actually an old bank turned into a HUGE bar with lots of couches, comfy chairs, a bar with bar stools and a restaurant right tables and chairs - so, whatever you’re comfortable with, they have it! The bar is connected to a hotel which makes it easy to meet other travelers from all over, too! I would absolutely recommend you check out this place out! You won’t regret it! We came here for the drinks and vibe, and left satisfied. The place is a fun place to hang out with friends or as a couple. The bar area got comfy seatings and also stools too depending on what you like. Not many places in Porto also got the size and vibe like what you see here. The remnants of the old bank and it's lockers are designed to add additional character to this location. There ia also a steakhouse restaurant inside but we didn't try it that night as we had dinner scheduled somewhere else.

Anyhow I will wholeheartedly recommend this place if you are looking to have a night out drinking.

If you're looking for interesting cocktail bars in Porto, then Big Bad Bank is definitely one of them. The building is a repurposed old bank vault filled with fake notes, which gives the place a distinct vibe unlike anything I've seen so far.

I ordered two cocktails: Ay Regina and a Manhattan.

Ay Regina is definitely not for the faint of the heart - the brandy packs quite a punch, followed by a hearty dose of herbal notes from the Fernet finished by the distinct taste of chocolate bitters. I didn't really notice the toasted sesame oil (much to my surprise).

As for my Manhattan - I was satisfied. A little less strong than I would have expected but good nevertheless.

Really cool bar, a must visit for good cocktails and an even quirkier setting. It’s like an adults playground. Plenty of cool photo opportunities if it’s not full of wanna be influencers spending taking thousands of photos.

Unusual setting for a cocktail bar/restaurant but it works well and the staff are excellent.
Not much on the menu if you don't eat meat but you choose your cut of steak and the size at the "butcher's counter" tell them how you like it and they cut it and cook it in front of you on a wood fire.

Great cocktails with a local (port) twist. The interior is a cool blend of edgy and classic. Probably the best cocktail bar in Porto.

Amazing experience. The waitress was very friendly. Delicious meat and sides. The octopus with padron peppers were yummy too. Great for sharing. Fun ambiance!
