We love this place. Always full of friendly locals; nice food, good selection of drinks, including some very interesting (and somewhat pricey) international craft beers.

Excellent serving, very friendly staff, top 3 ponchas I had on the island and one of the best import beer selection and if you've been on Madeira for a while and like beer you probably know how hard it is to find something...different let's say.

A very local, but still friendly with tourists bar. Went there for two nights, just because of the Nikita. Big beer selecion and great Ponchas. By the way they give great snacks with drinks.

I tried the espada, bife de atum and carne vinha d algos sandwiches and they were very tasty! Also recommend the poncha regional. Very local, very cosy.

WE RENT MADEIRA CAR RENTAL bikes, scooters and cars we recomended to visit this old simple grocerie for the best experience, try all kind of poncha, our beautiful all mighty strong typical short drink with bee honey, sugar cane rum, dash of lemon zest, orange zest, punch and stir served with ice or without made in your front for you to have the most fresh madeira cocktail, we recomend is one of the best made by the best. Tradicional place great for typical snacks and served with all beers, try all kind of ponchas really great to start your adventure specially if you going out...
