Great restaurant, food is excellent! We have eaten here for lunch the past 2 Sundays. We come mid morning to Alvor enjoy the Sunday market, walk the boardwalk and develop our appetite for the delicious meal!

If i could give this place a 10/10 i would. The food was divine, some of the best sea food i have ever eaten. I had the oysters for starters and they were beautiful and fresh. I had the grilled salmon for mains and it was to die for, i would highly recommend it. I have cheesecake for dessert and it was delicious and light, a perfect way to round off the fantastic meal i had. This place is amazing from the food, the service and the atmosphere, if you wander into Alvor i highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant located in Alvor offers a nice view of the marina when seating outside as it is only a few steps from it. The food is delicious and fairly priced. Lunch special is offered from 9.80€ to 12.80€ sample lunch shown below (Sea bass with roasted potatoes and salad.

I love this place- the food is of a high standard and the staff are lovely. Excellent service and always a warm welcome. Beautiful fresh fish and filleted at the table if required. Nothing is too much trouble. A special experience every time

The Clams were amazing and full of garlic which my husband loves. Excellent service, very reasonable, with views of Alvor Lagoon.

Visited with my wife and had excellent service from the friendly staff. We had the scallops followed by the seafood cataplana for 2. As a cataplana fan it was very good with a lovely flavour.
Would not hesitate to go back or recommend. Not cheap but excellent.

So good, it was the only place we ate twice at. The lunchtime special was so good, we booked our last night's meal here. The ribs were delicious, hardly touched the chips, the salmon on cheesy potatoes with a layer of spinach was my wife said, one of the nicest meals I have ever had. The house red wine was very drinkable!! Thoroughly recommend everything about this lovely restaurant, not least the friendly staff, see you in 2022.

This place is simply great! Staff was very welcoming. It felt like home. Waitress gave us her jacket, since we got cold sitting outside! (Place was fully booked) They moved is inside as soon as the table was available. The food was so delicious! Everything was great to perfection! We had scallops, duck breast, tuna steak, sea bass and sole fish. Thank you!

Had a fantastic lunch here right by the waterfront. Excellent service. We both had the Sea Bass - whole fish grilled to perfection, our waiter even deboned it for me!

Great food, nice ambience, friendly staff - really good overall. Prawn cocktail was amazing!!

I can’t say enough good things about the food and staff at this establishment. Lily welcomed ya with open arms at the door and she was the reason we decided to stop here. She even came and checked on us after we were done. Our server Ruben was amazing! He suggested the wine and veal kabob and boy was he ever spot on! The best meal we have had this far! And my heritage is Portuguese so I’ve been eating the home made cuisine my whole life. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!! Thank you Lily and Ruben as well as the chefs in the kitchen! We will be back :)

We chose this restaurant for our last dinner in Algarve and we loved it! To start, they take the sanitary measures very serious, checked out certificates, disinfected the table/seats so this made us feel really safe. The waiters are very friendly and efficient and the service is great, they pay a lot of attention to details (your wine glass never gets empty, they changed the plate for the seafood shells very often, etc.). The food was great; we had the Cataplana and we loved it. The portions are big and the desert was also great. For the quality they offer, the price is fair. We recommend it!

Great place and checks all the boxes for a quality dining experience. First of all the location is amazing; we watched the sun set into the ocean from our table outside. Second the personell is professional, friendly and thoughtful. And not to forget the food is sublime. My wife had the seabass, the children had the breaded salmon and I had the tuna. For starters we had gambas flambé and fish soup, some bread, olives and pate. And for dessert the almond pie and cheesecake. Everything was fresh, tasteful and refined.
Special thanks to Ines, who made sure we could enjoy the last part of our meal in peace. Our youngest needed a diaper change and since we forgot out supplies she went out of her way and went to her car to grab one of her daughters spare diapers for us.
I definitely recommend Sereia and would give it six stars if I could.

Great seafood right in the heart of the Alvor centre. Just a few steps from the harbor, it serves tasty dishes and feels different from the other seafood restaurants around just by having a little more sophisticated look while keeping the traditional cuisine dishes.

I love the service and food in this place. Luckily got a small seat inside. It gets filled up easily during dinner time.

Lovely place very close to the harbour. Was very busy on a Saturday but staff were friendly and helpful (and spoke English). Waited probably 30 minutes for main course, but not a problem on a busy day. Selected from the £11.80 menu, Sea Bass and Little Squids that came with potatoes and a mixed salad. Very enjoyable.

Before we even down the staff were great. Both food and service was amazing.
