Salsa Bistro

We went here for dinner tonight, the food was fantastic. I had golden bream in a tomato sauce, which was the tastiest thing I’ve eaten in a long time.
The portion sizes were really good. Really reasonably priced and the staff were very attentive. A new favourite. Definitely worth a try.

One of the best restaurants in Alvor. Situated right in the heart of Alvor's harbour eating area, Salsa is a little different from other local restaurants. Always a friendly welcome, attentive staff, delicious food and good value for money

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Very good food and very kind service. We ordered the salmon and the chicken piri piri. The included side dishes were very nice as well.

The food portions are very big and come with a side of vegetables and delicious gratin potatoes. I had the carbonara and I would highly recommend this to anyone. Very creamy and flavorsome but not too heavy.

Seafood pasta special delicious would be enough for two people.

There's nothing you can't like about this place. Great friendly service, great food, and plenty of it, with a great all-around atmosphere. Brill !!!

Really enjoyed eating here, the two lads are very attentive and the food is great with that home cooked feel about it, one of our go to places every time we are in Alvor.

We were a party of 8 adults and 2 infants. We were extremely well catered for. Food and service absolutely top notch.

I don't do reviews, but on this occasion I have made an exception. This restaurant is simply outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection and was simply delicious. The Ukrainian waiter was very friendly and efficient. Like many British people I prefer to eat early, so we were the first customers of the evening. This may explain why we were made to feel very special. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and without hesitation.

I would give this 6 stars if I could. Great food, lovely cosy spot but what makes this place truly special is the staff and in particular, Vlad. A true gentleman and what sets this place apart from other restaurants. Go and be charmed!!

Loved this little bistro, lovely welcome, still on limited winter menu, but we had the special of the day. Lovely fresh food with fresh veg,gratin potato and fries was a really nice meal at a sensible price. Thankyou 😁

Wow what a fabulous meal, got to say it was good comfort food great portions and the guys were super attentive.. the kids had Carbonara and I had the sea food linguine great we already booked another night

Long: We stay a week at Alvor and normaly try every day a new restaurant, at Salsa Bistro we stay twice. The personal, service and food are amazing! It is a real place to be in alvor! Thank you for your very warm welcome to us! Hope we meet again soon! If i could i give more than 5 stars! 👍🏼

We had a amazing Christmas lunch. Fantastic service, and the staff first class. Highly recommend Salsa Bistro.

Lovely place and menu, we had a great night. I would suggest the tables on the windows, looking to the Alvor streets. We ordered a chicken and a tuna, everything was great.

I loved my veggie risotto and my husband said his chicken was amazing - the best meal out that he could remember in ages. House wine was fab too and we just found it for less than €3 a bottle! Will need to export a few bottles. 🍷😁👍

Cosy bistro with superb home cooked food, great host and welcome, we ate here twice this week, excellent, well worth a visit.

Great service! Friendly staff lovely food complimentary wine on arrival,free glass of port after our meal! Definitely recommend!
