We had the most glorious day with our instructor Marco!!! Knowledgeable, concise, energetic, straightforward and light hearted. He is a masterful teacher with experience. I felt immediately safe and the skillls we have attained are etched clearly into our minds. It has been only a day since our class, and
we are stoked to continue to explore the skill/art/joy of surfing! Thank you so so so much, my boys and I had a beautifully memorable day!

We are a family of 4 (with 2 girls age 9 and 12) and did private lessons with Marcos for 3 days. We as adults had no surf experience at all. Marcos did a great job explaining in perfect English safety rules and teaching us the most important moves before we got in the water. He gave immediate feedback and stayed very focused during the lessons, while almost taking no breaks so we could catch a lot of waves. Special thanks to Marcos for watching the girls closely and help them improving their skills a lot while keeping them save at all times. We had a great time and would definitely recommend private lessons as a family, especially with little kids.

Great surfing lesson with Marcos! There is a lot of attention to safety and because it is in a small group, he pays attention to your technique. He knows a lot about surfing and has been working at this company for a long time, you can tell he has a passion for it. He gives immediate feedback if he sees something going wrong, so you learn a lot in a short time! Only thing is he doesn't really give you compliments, but we didn't mind.

Had an amazing lesson with Marcos; his passion for surfing really shows! Compared to our other school, I felt like we really learnt a lot; from looking at waves, to technique on the board. We also felt he was super professional in also teaching us about surf safety and respect for others. Thanks again!

I took five surfing lessons with Markos. It was not only a great fun but also a valuable experience. His commitment to the safety and systematic work on improving my technique made each lesson very valuable and i learned a lot. An incredible first-time surfing experience!! Me & 2 sisters had a 1/2 day surf lesson and absolutely loved it. They picked us up near our air bnb in Lagos, and it was a 30-40 min drive to the beach where we surfed. There were 2 instructors for about 8 people and they were both very helpful & constructive!!
Me & both of my sisters had experiences of getting stand up and actually “surf” during our lessons.
It was super fun, I’d definitely recommend the surf school! I feel after this lesson I would feel comfortable taking a lesson or renting a board on another vacation! Very pleased with the service & instruction, and newfound vacation activity for the future!

Great surfing experience! Very professional team that considered my previous experiences and helped me to work on my surfing skills in just a few sessions. I loved that rules (how to behave in the water), risks and dangers were being elaborately explained in advance taking away any fear and becoming comfortable with nature and surf activity. I had my best experience of surfing with Salty Wave!! It was nice to have the pick-up and transport to the beach. The instructor, Marcos, was obviously passionate and knowledgeable. I liked that he taught us a lot of things to know about surfing before going into the water and taught the technical part. I liked that he adjust his teachings to my level. I enjoyed myself so much that I booked for the next day!! I had another instructor then, Matteo, and he was very good too. I highly recommend this surf school!! Hope to surf with you again!

Surfing with Salty Wave School was a great experience. José and Marcos paid a lot of attention to the performance on the water and gave great advices to improve. Marcos was determined to teach us the proper way of surfing. José was very motivating and make the best of our abilities. I would recommend to book at least two days to make more progress :-)

I went surfing with Marcos for two days. As agreed, we were a small group, so I was able to receive a detailed introduction and he gave me a lot of time. Marcos was very attentive and helpful in the water. I felt very safe with him! I learned a lot of new things through him and if I had had more time, I would have liked to spend even more time with the group and him. The surfing was super fun.

I booked one day of surfing for my first surfing experience. We got some basic training at first, well explained and then it was off into the water. The instructors are there with you and keep an eye on the things you do with the board. They are also very keen on keeping you safe while learning to surf. I was a lot of fun so I booked a second day on the way home from the first.
I learned a lot on the second day, mainly very helpful things manouvering the board in the water and spotting and catching waves.
Definitive recommendation when you want to go surfing in the Lagos area.
