Urban Garden Porto Central Hostel

Very good hostel. Nicholas and the lady after him are very kind and good hosts. Bed is spacious. Common area is also good. You need to book breakfast a night before to get discount. Breakfast is good, bread butter jam cheese juice milk coffee fruits etc.

My stay at "Urban Garden Porto Central Hostel" was a definite five-star experience. I found it to be excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. The rooms were not only nice but also impeccably clean. The staff, consisting of Nicolas, David, Ishwan, Sofia and her friendly colleague (apologies for not recalling the name), were all incredibly kind and helpful. Special recognition goes to Manager Julien, who was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

I really enjoyed the stay at Urban Garden. The original style of bunkbeds is what caught my attention. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The level of security is high here, so no things got lost, people were very thoughtful too. The lockers are low on the ground, underneath the bed, a bit unpractical, but good enough. Depends on the room, mine had windows to the street - it was a bit noisy at times. Otherwise the location is great! Close to the city centre, right next to a metro station and to a large square. The garden is a great place to socialise, work or just chill in the hammocks. Its also great for cat lovers - they keep roaming around.

An amazing hostel! Everyone is so nice and helpful. The rooms, furnishings and the entire building is well maintained and cared for. They have great security measures in place and great systems for sharing and cooperative use of the facilities. I love it here!

Hosts were wonderful! Julian and David’s worked with me with everything I needed and were friendly throughout. Julian recommended a restaurant and helped us get a booking. I highly recommend this hostel while staying in Porto as it was clean, a good atmosphere and an excellent location.

The highlight is the garden and the family feel of the whole common areas. Excellent kitchen where random guests (who?? 😀) cook delicious food for other guests.
Very familial and friendly hostel

I had a wonderful time in the hostel and met great people there. The staff is super friendly and welcomes you with open arms so it was really easy to connect. The location is perfect, as you can get to any place by foot. I highly recommend staying there.

Good place for solo travelers. close to the metro

I guess one of the nicest hostel I have been so far. I loved how relaxed it was. Perfect place to rest during travels, rooms are very big and nice. The bunk beds provide some privacy which is amazing. The garden is a stunner.. There are hammocks and a bar. Not to forget the lovely staff, they are very friendly and helpful. Also there were some nice people staying. Can only recommend.. I will come back for sure :)

The common garden is lovely, cozy and comfortable. Lots of shade under the fruit trees where to rest on hammocks, or on the couches, or on the outdoor bar, or in the grass. A++ for hospitality, Davide especially was super welcoming, friendly and available, he made my stay a lot of fun! Thank you guys!

Great place to stay
I was travelling with my bike though Spain & Portugal and ended up in Porto
This hostel was a great choice
Everyone I met who’s working there was really nice and helpful at all times
The outside area and the garden is beautifully decorated
The rooms are nice the beds comfy and sue to the curtains there’s as much privacy as you could possibly have in a shared room with 8-12 beds

Very clean, friendly staff and owner. Lost my "key" on the first day already, which wasnt a big deal. Bed with curtains, which is cozy and has more privacy . The garden is amazing, breakfast included, but nothing special. Def would come back!

Lovely new hostel with great staff, cool communal area and an awesome quiet garden space to chill. Mixed dorm room was clean and bed super comfy. Each bed has a good locker space for storing things safely. Being so central there was some noise from cars outside at night but nothing more than expected. I would definitely come back again.

I really love this hostel. The facilities are some of the best I've seen and I've stayed in alot of hostels! It's clean, bright and cozy. I loved the bed space which has a well designed space that gave privacy and comfort. There is also a lovely garden to explore. To top it off the staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice and enjoyable hostel, right in the heart of Porto - very close to metro/train stations and a small walk away from the cities points of interest.
Super confortable beds and very clean overall. The staff is also very friendly (and competent).

The hostel has amazing conditions and is super clean, there is hand sanitizer at every corner. The staff is very courteous and helpfull. Great kitchen at your disposal and an awesome garden with bar service. Right in the middle of the city, you won't find a better place to stay at these prices.

A clean and central hostel with fantastic 24-hour staff and a great garden in back. The beds are large and private and each room has its own bathroom. I took a train out late the day I checked out, so I would've had to bring my luggage around with me all day, but the hostel was nice enough to hold onto it AND let me hang out in the garden even after I handed my keys in.

Great location, clean rooms, beds with curtains are really nice and especially amazing staff!
You can also store luggage and stay in the common areas for the whole checkout day which is very convenient :)

Been there twice in 4 years and I really love this place. Beds are good, with ventilator and it’s very private. Also nice staff and nice garden

Very good location (near public transports and all points of interest). Didn't have to use transports at all.
Very clean, organized and confortable accomodations.
The staff was nice and always helpful.
The garden is also a must!
Will certainly come back.
