We had a super nice stay here hiking the Salkantay. Super comfortable rooms, very spacious, clean and with private bathroom. Very good price, great coffee. But what stood out the most was the owner helping us organizing the rest of our hike, when landslides and twisted ankles made it difficult. Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful accomodation in such a stunning location, right on the Salkantay Trek. Very affordable with hot showers, towels and wifi included. The hosts cooked delicious food and were very accomodating to provide vegan food for us. Avocados and coffee grown and produced on the property are some of the most delicious we’ve had! We wished we could have stayed longer- this place feels like paradise

These guys deserve the 5 star rating on their 30 reviews (pretty amazing - you’d think they would screw up at least once!). We loved it here - great food, amazing rooms with hot showers and en-suite, beautiful lodge and the owners (they are the staff) are very warm and welcoming. The husband built it himself and you can see how proud his wife is of him - it’s just a fantastic place to stay on day 3 of the Salkantay. If doing this trek again we would stay here again - 100% for sure.

We had a super nice stay during our Salkantay trek here! The owners are very friendly and caring. The food was absolutely awesome!! They prepared even a vegan option for me, which was the best during all the trail. For coffee fans: they have their own grown and roasted coffee beans!

I stayed here with a friend for one night. And we enjoyed it a lot. Everything was perfect. The family is super friendly, the woman speaks a perfect english and can help you when you have questions. She organised a driver to the hot springs and the next morning we got a private coffee Tour for a great price. We learned a lot from Louis and roasted our owne coffee. When I got sick I could stay in bed and she organised a Taxi to Santa Teresa, gave me tea and medicine. And we had the most delicious quinoa soup in Peru...
Muchos Gracias!

This was such a nice spot to stop off for a night on the salkantay trek! The rooms were top quality, the water was warm, the Wi-Fi was good. The hosts were so lovely too, were incredibly welcoming cooked great food and even took me on a lovely tour of their family’s coffee farm! If you’re doing salkantay without an agency I cannot recommend staying here enough!

The best accommodation we had on the Salkantay Trek. Clean, comfy beds, hot private shower, really good wifi and a nice terrace for hanging out and eating. A good place to relaxe after the tough hike over the pass. The dinner and breakfast were also way better than in the other places we stood. With fresh and local ingredients. No standart srambled eggs... a real tasty omelet with vegetables inside and eggs from their own chickens! They also give their best to prepare something nice if you have special demandings talking about food. And the owners were such nice and kind persons. Huge recommendation!!!

Most comfortable beds we stayed in on the whole trek. The host was very hospitable and welcoming. She even made us tea from a loca mint plant. Wifi was very strong. Meals included nice big portion of meat.

It was the best hostel in the Salkantay Trek. The owners are very very kind. They helped us reach the Cocalmayo Thermal Bath calling the Colectivo. Food was really tasty, rooms were good, quiet at night, nice prices. Really recommendable

We had an amazing stay at the Viamonte Lodge in September of 2019. We spent the night there before hiking to Aguas Calientes via Llactapata (beautiful hike and nice ruins with a view of Machu Picchu in the distance).

The family who owns the lodge was unbelievably welcoming. The rooms were super comfy, clean and designed with a lot of attention to detail. The food was good and the coffee was even better. We highly recommend this place, especially if you do the Salkantay Trek via Llactapata!

On our solo Salkantay trek this was the nicest privat room we had. Good prices (60 S. for a double room), good food and coffee (!!), friendly owners and a cozy, clean room. Also the view from the terrace is beautiful.

This is a must place to stay. The couple who run this place are lovely people, the room was amazing and the food was fantastic. This was our favourite place that we stayed in the whole two weeks in Peru. Don't miss coffee farm tour they offer you

100% recommend this place ! It was our best stay in Peru so far and definitely the most luxurious experience during the Salcantay trek. Roger finished this place off in such high standard that it beats 5* hotels in Lima. They also serve freshly roasted and delicious coffee from their own farm. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and there is a cold beer available ! View from the bar is amazing as well. I wish we could stay there for longer ! Lodge is build in a very eco friendly way. We loved every minute of our stay there !!

Amazing place to stay, not only along the Salkantay but of all Peru. Quiet location away from all the crowds, run by a beautifully warm family who offered us everything we needed. Stay here and take home some coffee liquor! Meals were amazing!
