Wao Beach Plaza

We ate at a few different spots during our stay in the area. Every food we had was delicious. My kids are picky eaters and ate everything we ordered. Highly recommend the chicken Katsu sandwhich and baos from Fama Sushi Venao or pizzas from Gatto blanco or the açaí bowl from Natural Venao OR the fresh fish or fried fish from Oleajes de Sabores.

Me pareció excelente, super ambiente, cervezas nacionales a buen precio igual que extranjeras! La playa está justo en frente lo que da un plus para este lugar...muy relajante!

Buena comida, espectacular la atención... Tiene restaurante, bar moderno, DJ, justo frente al mar! Espacioso!

This area is a cluster of restaurants all by the ocean. The actual restaurant called Wao Venao was probably the worst food I've eaten in Panama and I've been here over a year. The ceviche was covered in black pepper which made the leche de tigre inedible, the fish was not fresh. Then we had grilled fish which again was terrible and really not fresh. We didn't finish either course and the wait staff didn't seem surprised or bothered. So don't you bother either.
