Villa Marina Lodge & Condos

My aunt and I went to this stunning place in 2018 - which means that a few years have past since our visit.

But nonetheless, our stay at “Villa Marina” happened to be so amazing, that after all this time we still remember those beautiful days with a smiling face. On our Road-trip we spent some nights here and it was just splendid:

The service was excellent. So caring, kind and we even ended up having some late night deep conversations in the lounge together with one of the hosts. We were even allowed to play some music in the living room. In addition, the breakfast was delicious! During our stay we were provided with everything we needed. Moreover, the “Lodge & Condos” is directly in front of the calm and pretty beach “Playa Venao”. You’ll see some surfers on the right side of the beach. The seaside of the hotel is very relaxing since there are not so many people strolling around. The pool is a 10/10!!

PS.: We recommend borrowing a kayak for a little ocean escape :)!

I highly recommend this establishment.

The service and the setting are the stars here. The room we stayed in is somewhat dated. They are detached from the main building. There are also several condos in the same complex that are newer, more modern and higher scale.

The beach is picturesque and pristine. This location is far enough away from the surfer community that affords guests a more subdued experience, better for older couples and families.

The staff was 💯 professional, courteous, helpful and speak passable English.

P. S. Ask them for a cup of coffee. It's simple, and perfect 😀

The staff here (Dennis, Ariel, Nina, Maria, William, and others) are truly excellent––always friendly and accommodating. Just fantastic people. Plus, the passion fruit margaritas are to die for! We will definitely be coming back.

First of all we didn’t had a mini fridge in the room. I asked if they had the possibility to cool our groceries. After 5 minutes we had a mini fridge in our room.

All though we had a longer wait on our breakfast, they gave us some free drinks. We also had some special wishes with breakfast time and this worked perfectly!

The location is super! With an own hammock on your balcony which has beach access. Room was also super comfy!

Stuff is super helpful and friendly. Food is good. Would go there again.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Marina. Three days is too short! The location is perfect, a short walk to the amenities of Venao but worlds away in terms of quiet and relaxation. The service was great. The food was good and the music played on the veranda in the evening was perfect. We have attached a photo of the view of our room.

Our second stay at Villa Marina was a family get-together and it was fabulous. The ocean-front rooms were great for watching sunset or the early light in the morning. Beds are comfy with soft sheets; bathrooms basic but clean. Views awesome!

The beach bohios provide some of the only waterfront shade on. Venao. The shared yard was perfect for yoga followed by a dip in the pool or ocean. With only 9 rooms it didnt seem crowded. The included breakfast was solid and there were lots of good dining options further down Venao beach where the surfers hang out.

It is a 5 min walk along the beach to the best surfing in Panama. Young nightlife scene was vibrant for those who wanted but far enough away that noise wasnt a bother.

The staff at Villa Marina were all very friendly and helpful! Everything was clean and towels plentiful. They will do a bonfire if one wants. They really contributed to making our stay pleasant!

If you are going to Venao, this is the only place you should stay. The staff here are excellent. The food is very good. Villa Marina has been on Venao for many years, and is true to the original spirit of Venao, which was about nature, relaxing, and the Panamanian culture. The other hotels on the beach are largely new international businesses which drown out the sound of nature by playing "untz-untz-untz" music at all hours. If you are looking for an authentic, classy, quiet, relaxing place to stay, Villa Marina is the only good option on Venao, in my opinion. My Panamaian friend recommended this hotel to me and he was definitely right that this is the place to be in Venao. The ocean front rooms are very nice.

Amazing place with long quiet beaches. The Condo was modern and had all we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer.

We stayed in this little paradise for one night. Nice location at a few steps from the beach. You can easily get in the sea and swim around; water temperature is very nice. The swimming pool (with infinity view to the sea) is not too big, but offers enough space to the guests. They have a good lunch and dinner menu as well, but if you prefer something else, it is also on walking distance (500-700m over the beach) to other bars and restaurants at Playa Venao.

We had a condo and it was really nice, great view.

I can't say enough good about this resort. It is such a gorgeous, secluded part of the world. The beaches are fantastic. The fishing is incredible etc. The food at the restaurant was shockingly good.

The condo we stayed in was beautiful and right on the beach. There are 2 swimming pools and a restaurant.

Service was great by the manager himself, always prompt to make us feel at home. Confortable quiet place far from busy little towns around. Rates and prices according to what you receive.

This is a superb place If you just want to relax, very nice, clean, attention to detail is the key word here, the only thing which is not excellent is the food which is good, but not excellent as everything else, atmosphere fantastic!

Great hotel, friendly and engaging staff, and delicious meals!

I love the tranquillity of this place. Few meters from the beach, sleeping with the sounds of the waves, beautiful garden with a swimming pool. Super romantic!

Great service with beautiful landscapes and direct access to one of the best surf beached in Panama.
