Playita Hotel

Fabulously different resort. Hard not to love a place that has 6 macaws, numerous iguanas, at least 1 capuchin monkey, and a small family of howler monkeys one of whom was nurse a little baby. Large crescent sand beach is clean as a whistle and waters are calm being protected by rocky
outcropping several hundred feet offshore. My friend saw a number of rays as well. Crystal clear waters. The entire place is littered with little treasures for the eyes...hidden figurines, metal sculptures of animals, stone paths that ramble into the surrounding vegetation. Tile work with iconic animals and sealife adorn walkways, walls, benches, the rooms and more. Wood taken directly from nature is used to fashion incredible swings, benches, chairs, tables and bird rests. Stayed first time in 2005 and the owner Lester has obviously worked very hard to continue to expand and make his property into an unforgettable, peaceful retreat. Definitely will return. A quiet place to go in Venao...if you love quiet sea it is. The location and well keep property is very natural. The road to her there isn't the best but in dry season a sedan car can go there. The restaurant didn't offer plenty of options.

This lodge backs up to a very nice lagoon off of the Pacific. Beautiful, private and scenic.

Probably the most beautiful beach in the area. Great garden full of animals so you can watch monkeys 5 m from you because they use to feed them with bananas and they come up very close to get them. They also have iguanas and parrots, baby deer and few other animals very friendly. Also, they cook delicious fish, I eat a very good pargo here.

it's awesome, the rooms, the restaurant, really closed to the beach, it also has electricity on the tents near the beach, there a lot of space for parking lot. 5 stars well deserved.

Latin is a great guy, he owns the place and speaks great english. He is fascinated by nature and used to work as a horse Jockey. He gave me a complete tour and mentioned that he has done all of the work work himself.

Calm and peaceful place to escape and spend a holiday or vacations. It offers hotel service, restaurant with food from the sea among other attractions.
